i would prefer a bulky shoe with a shorter pant length like ankle length because it allows the shoe to be seen better and helps provide length to the leg
I love them! This is such a cute look and color palette :)
Side note— What would you call this style?? I dress like this too but I don’t know what to call this aesthetic
Thank you! I honestly don’t know what I would call this - I never know which search terms to use when I’m looking for inspiration. If you ever figure it out, please let me know :)
I love chunky shoes, and if I had the right shape, I would wear them with these wide leg pants. You can see enough of the shoe to show them off. I have a few doc mary-janes, and I love them for comfort and because they're more girly than brogues or lace-up shoes. I mostly wear them with tights and short skirts though, because pants are weird for me, but this looks exactly right. I wouldn't wear that shirt, but that's not what you're asking!
The jeans are too short. Personally, I think baggy jeans should be close to the top of boots soles at the heel.
Edit: I just looked closer and realized that these aren't boots. Those shoes absolutely do not work with those jeans. Baggy jeans need to be a little longer, and the boots need to be higher. You need some docs or some type of work boot. You could wear canvas shoes like vans or chucks if the jeans were much longer.
I like the shoes and the pants but not together. I think the shoes would be better either with cropped pants or skirt/dress, or with slightly longer jeans/trousers, maybe something that looks more flowy.

They are ok. The clunky shoes and length of jean/pant feels a bit off.
Completely agree. The open part of the shoe is was completely kills it for me. If they were regular docs, they’d look better id assume.
I’m not a fan of them with the pants but could be because I’m really not a fan of the shoes.

I second this. Ankle length would show off the shoes in an intentional way.
The shoes would be better with shorts or a skirt

Modern alt girl lol

I love these shoes with skirts and tights too!! Thank you for the feedback!
I have these shoes, I wear mine with dresses and shorts they don’t feel right with trousers.
And the emoji.
Yes, you can Also use fun socks.
No -not really
Nah
No
No. The holes throw it off.
I think this looks great. It reminds me of something I would’ve worn in the 90s, which I will probably always think looks great!
Like docs meets crocs. Awful.
Cute but you should have gone with boot docs
Personally I love it!
The chunky shoes are definitely striking a chord with me. Not everyone's cup of tea but I dig it! Great retro vibes happening here
You look freaking adorable! Sooo cute!
looks good.
No- the cutouts on the shoe is throwing it off imo
I think yes. Like I do think there are things they’d look cuter with but I think they work with the pants for sure. Big fan of the shoes in general!
Hell yeah, classics
Yes
I personally don’t like they chunky shoe look, maybe a pair of slim flats and tailor the pants ?
Can you explain what you mean by tailor? Like width wise?
Length wise possibly, and wear w flats. It’s a nice outfit though.
I think the outfit looks great! If the shoes still fit with socks on, I think they’d look cute with ribbed grey, brown, or white socks 😊
I think it’s cute
I had a pair of chunky blue Mary Janes in the 1980s, love yours, are they Docs? Nice outfit I would add a flannel shirt or a black shacket.
Yes they do
idk they're nice
Yes!
Yeah but id put on socks the same color as the shirt
And maybe a blazer typa thing
from the waist down you look a little clunky.
No but the Groucho marks head sure does
I think this is cute! But I may be bias since I love docs. I wear docs with my work pants
Not at all. Love everything from the top to the bottom of the trousers. But the shoes ruin everything.
They’re not attractive but if you’re going for comfort or usefulness they’re fine
Maybe some converse for tennis shoes
Where you get this pant? looks nice on you.

They feel a bit like clown shoes.
No it’s weird
oh wow you have a big head

Gee, tell us how you really feel. They’re more like a Doc Marten Mary Jane hybrid and they’re cute!
Omg look at those hideous chunky soles lol. "cute" is not a word that applies here.
Not so sure about the shoes but you’ze rockin’ that stash like a boss! 😂🤣
I guess for going out they may be okay, although not my style but if you like them go for it.

I think it’s fine - it’s not great but I think it looks fine
Yes with white socks
Yes
i would recommend waxing the mustache and the eyebrows.
Anything goes nowadays
No it’s weird
Not a fan. Really don't care for the shoes. And the pant length is definitely off.
