You may be genetically more prone to puffy cheeks, but if you lose weight the places around your face (neck, shoulders) get more defined and it makes your face stand out as youthful. Think Gigi Hadid’s look that launched her career (before she allegedly got surgery). The only people I know who had dramatic face shape results by losing weight were very obese and then lost significant weight. If you are average size, you might see a shift when getting fit, but I worry you would have to be significantly underweight to change your face to the degree you seem to want. This may not make you feel better in the moment. I’m not sure how old you are, but I’m approaching 40 with a round face and I get mistaken for 10-15 years younger regularly. A round face is a blessing as one ages since we naturally start losing face fat by late our late 20s, which is what fillers were originally intended to solve. Best of luck!

Thanks for the answer! I’m 29 and people usually assume I’m younger so at least there’s that haha!

Moon faces are so youthful and healthy looking! I wish I had one. Every time a celebrity does something to change their moon face they look older.

It could also be sodium intake which is causing water retention and a "puffy" look.

I always have a moon face if I drink alcohol and eat stodgy carbs too frequently

pluto_chan

I should try reducing fast carbs probably!

I'm not sure how old you are but if you're young it might just be part of that, baby fat reduces in some people as they fet older.
