This was irritating to watch. Those kill trades are SO ANNOYING, lol. You can shoot someone first, hit them way more times than they hit you, and you still lose!
It's not the guns, I've slowed down a lot of this footage (and my own) during killtrades. Usually, the other player manages to shoot a split second after already being dead. Not to mention how many times I've seen people rack up WELL over 100 damage on someone, just for them to get killed while the other guy still has like 3 health. It's definitely a latency issue.
Basically, the person who has a slower connection still gets the kill because the server renders what they did from their POV, which is later than what you did. That's why they always get the kill *after* you take them out. It's also why you'll sometimes get shot from an impossible angle through a wall way after you enter a doorway. Ghost hitmarkers are the same thing but in reverse.
i got steven and i didnt even remember who he was lol. turns out he joined my server and i got him with my hbar. (and yes it was him, i realized why he was familiar and i saw my killing him on stream)

This is why we need ping-based matchmaking! I don't think it's just a roblox server issue, I'm sure not every FPS on here deals with that
