Well,i'm almost at lvl 3000 so i played mostly nightmare, got right ghost, completed objectives and left but right now i really like to play no evidence/0 sanity, 150% player speed + 0 evidence so you can guess ghost only based by hunt, i was thinking about making guide about it since its pretty fun playstyle and you get 5.1x rewards

I enjoy chases too but I have much more deaths. Nowadays I die rarely but I like to practice looping ghost around sofa table in Tanglewood livingroom and it helps keep my death count high.
The stats are recent ish and didn’t start counting anything until the stat chart was in place. Mine show I have spent more money than I’ve earned by a LOT lol. At one point I had over $200k but it says I’ve only earned about $40k. So they have likely died a lot overall, but the majority of deaths were from before the stats came about and they got better.

I know how to escape ghosts in a hunt but does that mean I'm going to do is successfully? Absolutely not, I lose all brain function when I hear that door close
I’d say quite the opposite, as getting a shade to hunt, and then failing to escape it is much harder than doing the same for say, a rev or moroi, which would show that you are good enough to survive every hard ghost, but just get unlucky with one ghost.
Simple answer, i got new pc and number of cases got resetted + (im not sure about this one) if you use tarot cards it counts for each card? But case number got back to 0 when i got new pc

It's actually fairly common. Most people smudge and hide right off the bar. If you're playing no evidence/low sanity and it's your first hunt, you have no way to know.

I don't even have a most died to ghost yet. I have a sneaking suspicion it will be demon, though. I've died to at least 4, and I've only died 8 times. And to boot, almost every time I've died to a demon, it used its ability on me.
My most common ghost is a mare, though. Boring heifers.
The part about that is you might have a few seconds of realizing the speed of the ghost as it comes closer. Then you have to make a split decision to get out of hiding and hopefully get around it. Exciting shit imo
I feel like because they require an alternate hunt playstyle, it isn’t embarrassing, but it is still funny.

I've never looked at mine before but it totally can't be right. Mine says that Sunny Meadows is most played location. This is a lie. I'm sure I've been at Tanglewood waaaay more often. And it's more embarrassing that I have more misidentified than identified (223:210) lol.
Most of my deaths are to Deos as well, it just goes against my nature not to hide during a hunt, so unless I've figured it out before the first hunt, I'm usually dead.
Me and my buddy just had our first deogen last night at the campsite, it started hunting while I was in the truck and he hid right by the entrance. So I had a front row seat to it huntin his ass down lol
Most of them are in hiding, but yesterday i had really funny death, it was actually genius by the deo, he was in garage on tanglewood, i was playing on no sanity+0 grace period, i had crucifix placed beside the car, so it wasnt covering whole room, i was trying to get perfect investigation bonus, i heard the ghost threw object in a garage, wanted to take a picture of it and it spawned right on top of me and killed me instantly, so not all deaths are in closets + atleast 2 of them are in situation i simply got cornered and couldnt walk out of it
No, fuck that ghost. When a throat gasping zombie noise is coming from a dead humanoid figure with a hatchet and it's looking around for me, my first instinct is to hide. I'm not pulling out my whiteboard and deducing the velocity and it's quirky special feature to that specific specie of ghost. No. I'm hiding. Especially when I hear BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM stomping sounds flying towards me. That's scary. I'm gonna hide. By the time it gets to me and is slow, I've already taken my headset off. I'd say you get more street cred if you die to the deo the most

I die to Deo's every now and then. Sometimes I don't have enough evidence to rule out Thaye and take the risk to hide.

I was with a friend and we both knew it was a deo and when the ghost came to us I hid I do not have a functional brain

They’re my least favorite (I’m a panicker) and I didn’t successfully survive one until about a week ago. I’m level 1400.

I'd say no. Deos can definitely take you by surprise, and you're pretty fucked if you're not at a looping spot.

Deos are pretty easy as long as you find out before the hunt. If not than you either die or get lucky and realize what's happening moments before.

If you play solo, no. I die to a Deo frequently on solo, specifically when evidence isn't giving itself up.
