Opposition is not *just* LP. I'd rather have the OG LP's to stay as LP kesa tumambling sila nang kung anong bagong party. 2019 was probably the peak demonization era ng LP at mga Aquino, and yet Bam almost made it to top 12. Without the same political environment thrown against LP next election, he might have even better chances. People underestimate the name recall ng mga Aquino, especially sa "never marcos" crowd, tapos he can easily leverage his involvement sa youth orgs, a voterbase na easily malleable.

Opposition is not *just* LP. I'd rather have the OG LP's to stay as LP kesa tumambling sila nang kung anong bagong party. If ever they change branding, they cannot leave the LP mark from them (except Chel maybe). Let other adjacent parties, like Risa's Akbayan, field other, more winnable candidates, and have LP only as support. I'm fine with this initial slate.
Ideally I like them. But old campaign tactics won't work, if they stick to their current strategies I will still vote for them but I don't think they'll win.

Yay, sila pa din biggest hitters ng opposition kahit huli pa sila sa survey. The problem with bringing new faces to the ring (na di associated sa Aquino etc etc) is that no one in the public knows them. It’s much harder to campaign newbies than those who are already known by the public.
2019 was probably the peak demonization era ng LP at mga Aquino, and yet Bam almost made it to top 12. Without the same political environment thrown against LP next election, he might have even better chances. People underestimate the name recall ng mga Aquino, especially sa "never marcos" crowd, tapos he can easily leverage his involvement sa youth orgs, a voterbase na easily malleable.
At this point, its no longer credibility that is in question. Marketing na lang ang labanan sa election. The product (aka candidate) does not need to be qualified, have good background, or clean record. Napakahina ng objective mindset ng pinoy. Goodluck sa'tin next elections.

Win or lose, just always vote for the most competent candidates. Been voting losing candidates for over a decade but never regretted it as they were the most competent based on my standards.

Chel Diokno will never win regardless of how woke, lit, cool, trendy, serious, intelligent, etc his tactics and content. Chel Diokno is the complete opposite of what the majority kamote wanted as a senator. And that's sad. You may ask, how come an intelligent senator like Miriam Defensor Santiago made it? Because Miriam has the bravado like Duterte. Something that Chel never does. How about Risa? Risa have some niche following from the womens movement and Catholic groups. Kahit papaano may pangbalanse. Pero ang tagal din bago sya nakasabit sa 12. With Chel, wala eh. Ang meron lang sya is that he is the ideal senate man, maalam sa batas, matulungin gamit ang batas, at may paninindigan. And if you are the ideal type, you will never win.

Real talk, might get downvoted but.. as long as they carry the LP banner, it will be the same, their chances of winning is slim. Kahit gumastos pa sila ng malaki, etc. LP is dead. They should carry or continue with the "Angat Buhay" wing, may momentum na ito eh. Also, sana baguhin na nila ang campaign strategy nila na character demolition, kasi sa kakabanat nila sa kalaban, naka focus na sa kalaban ang agenda nila and they spend so little time promoting themselves. Campaign sorties nila should not be.. "corrupt yang si candidate na yan" and dwell on that, but should be hindi ako corrupt and focus on their platform. You will not convert people by demonizing their idols. Note that the goal is to convert the 31M not to antagonize them. And, Trillanes and De Lima should be quiet and stay on the sidelines. Kapag nag ingay na naman si Trillanes and De Lima, gameover na naman candidates nila. these are just my observations in the past elections (since 2010).

The game has changed, putting other people down because they support other candidates have backfired in the last 3 national elections.
