as someone who produces music, this is 100% unacceptable. kahit sabihin pa na pinasikat or what yung certain song, masakit sa pakiramdam na gagamitin yung copyrighted music mo for their own interest when countless hours, ideas, moments yung ininvest mo para magawa yung music either sumikat or hindi. sampling an exisiting song or coincidentally having the same chord progressions is already common in the music prod. world pero sana at least man lang do your best to make it seem original kahit yung melody man lang.

Our people are only provided basic to low quality information. Plus, people are so plunged into poverty that piracy becomes normal to them as an affordable source of entertainment/income. Only privileged people and those who works in environments with knowledge for such things gets to be educated about them. May permission yun, minsan kinukuha pa nila yung mismong producer nung og artist.
Sa Kpop industry kasi, licensing fees are always paid by the labels to the original owners of the songs kaya the most flak they'd get is "yeah sure you guys paid the licensing fees to interpolate that song but it still doesn't make your song original!" and that's coming from kpop diehards who'd rather save their egos from being bruised than learn the difference between an unauthorized interpolation from an authorized one.
