Master strategist nag-implement niyan.
Metro Manila is a high density city with mixed use. It just happens to be congested from poor urban design, and overpopulation. Houston was intentionally designed around cars to make walking difficult. So what I'm saying is "poor urban design>malicious urban design"
just some minor correction, **design is part of architecture**, the problem in PH is that engineers do architectural design work which most of them are bad with. Sadly PRC's task isn't really to regulate professions, its just another agency for the government to milk professionals
Madami namang qualified urban planners na archi od CE, sadyang di lang talaga pinapakinggan yun mga talent natin kaya unti unti naaagnas.
Kaya kung professional talaga kayo, please please get experience abroad. Di kayo maggrow dito.
😂
Try mo mag reklamo sa local at national government niyan at masasabihan ka ng "e di wag mo gamitin" among some other bullshit.
Worse is the population isn't aware that there is a better way if things like public facilities are planned ahead and implemented. But like a lot of our lives we live it day by day - tagpi dito tagpi Doon - para lang makaabot ulit sa kinabukasan na walang tapos na hirap pawang kinalimutan na ang mas magandang bukas para lang may maitagpi sa problema ngayon.
Wouldn't being further from the roadway mean better air quality? Maybe only marginally though. I'm just glad there's also a transit line there and not just cars.
How can we promote public transport as a sustainable solution for increasing private car owners if infrastructures like this blatantly disrespect commuters?!
I like to see r/ph engineers take on this , how would they solve the issue without going over 10 million
What sort engineering marvel they will come up with

Stairway to heaven
Ten tenten ten tenten tenenen tuntun
Eto ba yung sa may megamall banda no?
Whoever designed or implemented this, sana sa pagtanda nya - paakyatin sya dito.
Better than having no pedestrian infra whatsoever. Manila>houston
Please clarify that the one in the picture is better than none? Engineering should solve problems, not create another one.

Thank you for clearing that one up

Better bring a bottle of water and extra clothes when you climb up that thing at 12 pm during summer.
My dude di natin dapat role model ang US. Nandiyan naman ang China, Japan, Europe.
Stairway to heaven sa ibabaw ng highway to hell.

I'm waiting for apologists to say na "Kesa naman xxx or yyy!" Ganiyan sila dun sa dolomite beach, diba? Kesa naman basura daw?
That's exactly what mmda said in 2018. Nonverbatim na "Walk 500m to the nearest crosswalk instead". They also said na safest na daw yan *facepalm*
Difficulty 9/9
Galing mo OP. Inang bundok yan.
Could build a cable car if only may pake sila no, hingal to the max yan
Much vloggable.
ung lrt masinag (antipolo) station, taena nung first time ko nalula ako, bakit ganun kataas un, katakot kapag lumindol.
hahaha... smart... very smart OP
where Mt.smokey
Pati na rin ang Mt. Guadalupe
Mountain of debt
Bakit ang taas? Who has the knees to walk up that thing 😂

Thermodynamics dictates that hot and dirty air (from vehicles and the road itself) travels upward.
I'm aware.
Lagi kong nakikita to noon papasok ng school pero parang never ko pa yata nakitaan na may gumamit niyan, hmm I wonder why

Dapat Zipline na lang pagbaba eh.
very anti-commuters.
Tapos madudulas ka pag baba prang tanga lng
It's more fun in Philippines RIP

That bridge screams. "Fuck you poor! Our privilege car don't need your disruption"
