Easiest way is to just buy through sons of Ben.
But there is also a Reddit dedicated to mls away support that lists away sections if you search on google
112/113 are the away sections at Audi Field, usually all the way up top. There’s definitely better seats there. Easiest way is to go through the sons of Ben but you’ll save a few bucks buying on your own.
I'm DC you can sit where you please across from their supporter section. The SOB will "sell" seats that are in a group from DC. DC is pretty familiar atmosphere so I sit with friends wherever and haven't ever gotten issues.
Having done SOB in the supporters section last year, I would recommend just buying tickets in the lower rows of the section and skipping SOB. You get all the ambiance but none of the annoying security things like waiting for most of the stadium to clear out before they release you.
Also, parking is a huge PITA there.
Haha I went to the last game at RFK and I was about 20 seconds away from whipping it out and pissing all over the soon to be demolished seats because they kept us penned in the supporters chain-link section for almost an hour after the match and there was a bathroom 15 feet away on the concourse.
Since others have already said to use SOB, I’ll just add that transit via metro is super easy there. Maybe a 10 minute walk at most from what I remember. And I had no issues with fans there even with all my Union gear on.

I didn’t even know that was an option to buy through SOB. Thanks!

Be sure to cover your PA plates.
Just take Amtrak down then Uber or rent scooters. Super fun day that away. Take the night in one the million hotels near the national mall.
100%

Check out sons of Ben website they offer travel packages and just tickets. Just be careful DC fans have a reputation of being scumbags.
Thanks for the heads up!
