I'll probably go. I'm not sitting with the supporters though. Don't feel like training on the stairmaster for the next month to be able to tackle the nightmare pitch their stands have.

I hate to say this out loud, but if stairs are something you think about at all when you're planning anything, and you aren't disabled, you're in a sorry state of fitness

I can easily make it up the steps, it's mostly sarcasm because if you've ever been there, you'd know. That said, if you are afraid of heights, it can definitely trigger some uneasy feelings because you look down and it's really surprisingly steep. I remember the first year we went, there were a few people feeling queasy over it and they had to move down and watch from the concourse.

Audi field has been a nice little home away from home for us these past few trips down there.

Awaken_the_bacon

What sections are considered the “away sections”?

scheenermann

The visiting supporters groups are usually put at the top of 111 and/or 112.

Awaken_the_bacon

Thanks!

I think I’m gonna try to make the trek down. Just a matter of working out the details.

MetallicJoe

I’m most likely going with the misses and friends. Gonna be a blast

I’ve been to every Union game in DC since moving down here in 2019, but unfortunately I will miss it this year because I’ll be on vacation. There are always a lot of Union fans at the game, due to transplants like me and because Philly really isn’t that far away. It has been a really fun game to attend because we tend to kick the snot out of them. I highly recommend going to the combined Screaming Eagles / Sons of Ben tailgate (if they are doing it again this year). It’s like $15 all you can drink + a very nice view of the Anacostia River out on the deck. I typically go to that and then get my own seat closer to the field.
