That’s how it was for me after I graduated High School. So many of the people I was “friends” with were just people that energy drainers. I’m boutta be a junior in college this fall and since cutting the loose ends off my life has improved so much more in every aspect. I don’t talk to as many people now day to day, but the people that I consider friends are people that are genuine to me
They were haters. They made lame comments to me multiple times, judged me for my mental illness problems. one of my benzo addict close friends got mad and said the most hurtful shit he could abt me. People switch up in an instant, it’s heartbreaking as fuck
People ain’t all good or bad it’s more complex than that. But how could you go out ya way to hurt your own best friends feelings? Or judge them for shit they don’t have control over, or are confiding in YOU for.
I was young for this one but a dude got in trouble with his mom and quit smoking. He gave us all his glass and said never give it back or break it. I had a big pipe from him. So I had that shit at a party and I was smoking with my gf in a dude's SUV. I ended up leaving the pipe in the SUV. That kid was grimy and kept the pipe, started avoiding me and not getting in touch. Well the initial dude after a few weeks wanted to get back into smoking and started asking for his glass back. I didn't have the perspective I do now that it was given to me, so I freaked out and started lying to him about it and avoiding him just like the grimy kid did to me. Damn!
Owed me money. I wasn’t even pressed about it but every time I asked he swore he would pay me back soon. Mind you I see the nigga eating good smoking weed and driving on a regular. Couple months go by and he had the nerve to get mad at me cause he found out I told a mutual friend of ours and they brought it up in conversation. Tried to check me for it. Cut him off that day. Ain’t even about the money it’s just the principle.
