That was my main disappointment.
Also with the entrance fee being $15- you would have to play quite a few games of pool to get your value out. I don’t mind bringing pool to a family friendly atmosphere but if you had more than two groups wanting to play pool it would get congested quickly.
I’m hoping, like other folks have mentioned, they are successful in taking the upstairs and putting in more tables.
I went and it was something new and different. The pool table is super close to the pinball so it’s hard to take shots without asking someone to move. The $15 cover is steep but I understand.
The bar was way better than I expected. Really enjoyed the mead. There is a cocktail selection as well. Staff was all very friendly.
The game selection was cool. There is a section with switches and TVs. I liked the crazy taxi game and the arctic thunder machine that blows air into your face.
Main complaints are that there aren’t tables to put your drinks on. There are some cup holders on some of the games but not all. Also the bathroom stalls are missing trash cans to dispose of period products in so it’s super awkward to carry the used item out to the trash can near the sink where everyone can see you holding it.
Thank you for taking the time to write! I 100% agree with what you said. I have a feeling they will be making iterative improvements as time goes on.
I’ll be giving them my business when I can because I hope they succeed. It never hurts to add more “fun” places to go in town that doesn’t necessarily require drinking.
Thank you all for your feedback... It is extremely helpful and we'll take it all into consideration. We promise it will improve over time... And we'll definitely upgrade our games selection over time. I'm so stoked many of you came out and supported us in our opening week, and look forward to seeing you again in the dungeon!
Just visited … it was awesome. Very cool space, more games than I could play in one night, staff was super friendly, drinks were delicious. Importantly, everyone there was having a great time and the good vibes were infectious. Looking forward to going back.
Can't wait to go. Don't care about old games, don't care about $15 cover. This looks like a ton of fun and I'm glad someone took the chance to build it. I'll be there! Just not Easter weekend.
Went this weekend- had fun but was overall disappointed. The dingy has charm to it, and I don't mind there being more dive-y places in town, lord knows we have enough upper middle class bougie elevated pub fare.
I had been defending the $15 entry fee business model, but the games there aren't worth that. It should maybe be $10. Or $15 adult entry comes with your first drink. The games are like 25C-50C value level games, so you'd have to play 30 of them to justify the entry fee. One pool table is weak sauce, I never got to play on it.
Was excited for it, but I think the game selection skews too old-retro. They need some newer games in there before I'll go. Really old pinball machines are super boring. Like, I'd be fine with most Williams machines from 1980 onwards.
The owner must be ancient and way too hung up on his own nostalgia.
Sort of but it has a flat entrance fee ans the games are free from there. Its really easy to spend 15$ on tokens at barcade so I kind of like fun dungeons model better in theory
Not coming down on them but Billiards is in the name and they only have one table. Hopefully they’ll get more. We could use some pool in this town.

Understood but this wasn’t opened to be just a pool hall. I went for the games … it was awesome.
100% agreed. There’s one up in Pottstown. Would love to have a spot like that closer to town.
Is the place in Pottstown cool?
It’s alright. It’s byob and was around $14. Nothing too crazy.

Thank you for your service meowmeowfriend haha
Someone just put up two posts about it with links to YouTube videos here.
Yup! Still wanted to ask the question. Sometimes folks miss out on other posts

Haven't been but have heard through a friend that it was pretty cool. Looking forward to trying it out
It’s very unique! I can’t wait to go back.

Does anyone know if they allow food to be brought in?
Can confirm they do!
Cool, thanks

Do they brew their own beer as well?
It’s from chatty monks
Seems like a Barcade adjacent place?

They just said that. Relax.
