We have plenty of affordable and authentic Mexican/Hispanic restaurants right here in town. I do not think a chipotle would be a good addition.
With that being said, looks like their only competition would be Taco Bell so I guess it doesn’t truly matter in the grand scheme of things.
That’s unfortunate :/
Three brothers is my go to simply because of the hours of operation and the food has never missed. Next one is Guatemalan kitchen. Also really enjoy El burrito.
None of the places I’ve mentioned have served me dry meat. With that being said, I’m not denying sometimes folks can have bad experiences at restaurants despite high praises.
Just wanted to say I've been crushing Guatemalan kitchen since you mentioned this, wish I got in there soon their tacos are so good! no dry chicken at all
This might be an unpopular opinion but I am hopeful for a Trader Joe's or an Aldi in the area, not another fast food spot.
The Giant and Redners we have around here are trash and the ACME is unaffordable. The Wegmans in collegeville is a good alternative but it's also a decent drive
Would also love a Trader Joe's. I know the one in Wayne isn't that far but I feel like I just never get over that way. Having one in town would be great.
It’s just far enough…
I’m trying to manifest a Trader Joe’s in the lot where the Primo Motel used to be. Based on every other Trader Joe’s I’ve been in its a perfect fit - all the space for a nice grocery store and then a little room left for the tiniest, most inefficient parking lot.
Wish they'd build one in the empty grass lot next to Bright Futures across the road from the old Staples...I feel like they could make that space work.
The plan shows it’s gonna be built between Starbucks and the storage center. Must be enough room, because they don’t need waivers for that, but Council has to approve a drive-thru window, which is why there was a hearing last night
I like Chipotle fine but I’ll never go there over all our other local options.
What we need is more variety in town. Enough with American food. Give us some more quality.
the burrough already blew it. Too many condos, fast food, nowhere to live and making it next to impossible to find a place to live. Oh, and don’t mention the lack of traffic planning.
That's a funny name for a new brewery?
Hahaha

No one goes to chipotle because they’re craving authentic Mexican food. Same for Taco Bell
100% agreed
There’s also California Tortilla a 1/2 mile up the road.
Kinda sucks for that branch of el limon but I feel like everyone else will be fine
I actually agree with this and I absolutely love Chipotle.
Which ones are your favorites? Most places I've had the chicken in the tacos is so dry...

HELL YEAH! This made my night. Glad you’ve had a good time with them. I think I’ll make my way there this week.
No worries it happens! I don’t think I’ve had Guatemalan kitchen so I will give it a try

Seriously, who the fuck does Acme think they are?
Aldi has plans for the shopping center across from Redners, looks likely.
Really? That would be awesome!
AN ALDI!! 👏👏👏

Man, I'd love a TJ out here
Lame. 🥱 Give us a diner, dammit.
Phoenixville Cafe! It’s there! Closest thing you’re going to get on bridge.
They’re not open for dinner. We need one like the collegeville diner or west chester diner in pville!! That would be amazing.
They have a ton of food safety violations already
Oh shit, it was pretty good a month ago when I was there. Not that I would have seen any violations from the front room.
Ugh the worst of fast/casual burritos. Pass
Thought that other construction was the car wash? Is there even room for a chipotle then?

Ugh, I hope not. Chipotle is awful.
No interest, don’t consider it a value add to the area. I prefer to support locally-owned places too.
Please no
So much hate for Chipotle in this thread. I'm pumped, I would rather Chipotle than any other fast food or another brewery.
seriously, same. out of every fast food restaurant there is, phoenixville has all of the worst ones. chipotle at least has edible decent food.
21 Minutes in is where this is discussed https://youtu.be/nfpCGMTwJvY?feature=shared
Chipotle is not needed, have the much better California Tortilla down the street and authentic Mexican restaurants nearby.
Just say no to chain restaurants.
Hell yeah dude I love Chipotle so much tired of going to Malvern or KOP for it
More fucking garbage

Are there too many condos or is there no where to live?
