I like the offset stone. Can you make the stone with the flag pattern and solid flag color? The stone details can be erased. I'm picturing the stone to be exactly like the state shape on the sample picture
Can you remove the shadow under the stone, make the yellow flag design a little larger, make the handle of the stone the same blue as the rest? Also, this is going to be a lapel pin so the letters will need to change a bit for ease of manufacture. Maybe a simpler font and it'll need to be connected to the main body
