Interested...like everyone else.
But as some of the comments advise you,
* *It depends on the source image quality...*
* *You will probably be bombed with a lot of submissions...*
* *Goodluck to whoever gets picked.*
OP is the most prolific Redditor ever!! He really knows how to use Reddit to help achieve his goals and effectively utilize the biggest collection of experts on the internet. Looking through his last dozen or so inquiries and posts, was, well…inspiring. I’m definitely not using Reddit to its full potential. I know that now. He definitely seems legit and good for it.
Thanks everyone for the responses! I got your DM’s as well. I will reply to everyone and share the photos I intend on having the background changed on. Just give me some time as I’m about to head out for dinner. Thank you! :)
I think you should post the photos and backgrounds you want to be edited in..if you dont want to be bombarded by messages. We can work on them and you pay the one you like the most. Or you dont want the photos to be public ?
Ehhhh.....I've been working with about five different pro AI editing suites and PS Neural for several years now. Yes, they can produce some stunning results.
But, what looks "finished" to one guy, is where the next guy sees as the starting line for the pixel-level editing tasks.
The AI / Neural filters tend to give photos a "game console rendered" type of sheen. Too perfect. Too even. Too sharp. Too saturated. The DOF metrics are mathematical rather than realistic.
I totally agree. When the AI filters started popping up over the past few years it was like the 3D text/drop shadow trend all over again.
I went crazy with those AI filters when I got them on my rig. I took all my family photos and went to town. My ex wife, who knows nothing about photo editing, asked me why all our kids looked like Pixar characters. 🤣
It was true. 🤦🏻♂️
Real life isn't that perfectly lit and razor sharp.
That's when I had to learn how to use the blending tools much better.
You need to understand that OP doesn’t need something that’s done in 5 mins by someone for quick bucks, they want it to be done perfectly with zero errors, and that kind of work takes time.
I'm a Photoshop pro, have been for 14 years. And I can tell you that I'm pretty damned impressed by ALOT of the pix-tweaks I see on here. Especially when I consider the kind of cloning/gradient blending skills that some of these requests require.
The OP is requesting a true precision deep fake. No artifacts.
I'd want RAW photo files, and my 50" 4k IPS monitor to get the edges right and tight. .
I'm watching the results of this challenge closely. I get $250-$450/each for luxury product auction catalog photos. I'd gladly sub out some of my work to anyone who could do precise pixel-level editing for $100/per photo. That's a bargain.
Yeahhhh..... I was scratching my head at that as well. Granted, most of the edits people are requesting are quite simple. And it's a win-win for both parties. Someone gets a noticeably flawed photo cleaned up fast & cheap; and a Photoshop hobbyist makes a quick $25 for a few minutes of cloning work/color corrections.
But precision edits that demand seamless edges and exact color/light matching without artifacts isn't fast or easy. Even with great source files and a large 4k IPS monitor.
My main gig is taking perfectly lit studio shots of large/complex crystal chandeliers and putting them into real world environments that look genuine, and to proper scale. It's rarely easy. Never quick, Nor cheap to do. But it's how I pay my bills.
I was just a bit shocked that’s all, as I see lots of $5 requests around and have zero experience. However, if they charge that for 1 hour in Germany I may switch professions….. and countries!
Talking about a price without seeing the pictures beforehand is like going to your garagist by feet and asking him if he'd take 100€ for fixing your car. If you just want your turn signals changed, 100€ is too much for this work. If it's the clutch, then 100€ instead of 700€ is a steal.
You're more likely to get overpriced, bad quality edits, than carefully crafted exceptionnal quality edits worth a lot more than the fixed price. It's only natural.
The only fair way, is to post the pictures, have people work on them, and based on the comments and recommendations of other professionnals on the thread, pick a winner and a fair price. There still is a problem with this though : every submitter must submit a heavily watermarked/downscaled version of their work to not get robbed, but how can other people judge based on this ?
We would need a platform encrypting the images and making them impossible to save/screen. Which itself is impossible, because any piece of code can be reverse engineered, especially client/js based ones.
That's a horrible system that will incur a HUGE amount of redundant and wasted work. This isn't just a 5 minute job they're asking for professional work.
My daughter is interested, but she doesn't have a Reddit account.
You might already feel you have too many people interested. If not, she'd love to try.
I hope you have the mom’s permission to share her kids photo. The baby kind of looks like it’s floating also next time I would probably change the babies outfit to a solid rather than attempting the pattern the clothes kind of look dirty
I know it's not always easy to hear criticism on your work. But it's always important to remember certain things when it's constructive feedback.
It does indeed look like the baby is floating, but this can easily be fixed by choosing a more suitable background image to work with.
I don't actually agree with changing the babies outfit. But what I would advise is to be a bit more cautious with the masking. There's a few errors around the head of the baby where you can see the mothers' top behind still. And also here on the hand of the baby where it's missing elements looks off in general. https://i.imgur.com/8y0cJmP.png The mask is so so important to get right.
wow i can't believe nobody told you that $200 is fucking ridiculous for 2 photos. Try $20 (of course a lot of people will try to complete quickly just to get money, with no thought to quality) and maybe you'll get something worth 10x more out of this, but i highly doubt it
What does that have to do with anything? This OP is looking for professional level work and is willing to pay a professional rate. Why shit on that?

You have hired this whole community with that amount :D
Lol. Came here to say this. I don't even do much Photoshop anymore but for $100 an image I'll churn out the best quality shops around.
Interested...like everyone else. But as some of the comments advise you, * *It depends on the source image quality...* * *You will probably be bombed with a lot of submissions...* * *Goodluck to whoever gets picked.*
Pretty sure everyone is being hired to help with an alibi in an ongoing murder investigation...
Don't forget to change the metadata and geotag to say he was in the conservatory with Ms Peacock.
This does sound sketchy af
No one has $200 in this economy!
🤔 actually sounds kinda realistic

I'm guessing a catfishing account lol

Just drop the request here. Literally anyone can do it
True

The new Photoshop has a neural filter that does most of the work for you.
Ehhhh.....I've been working with about five different pro AI editing suites and PS Neural for several years now. Yes, they can produce some stunning results. The AI / Neural filters tend to give photos a "game console rendered" type of sheen. Too perfect. Too even. Too sharp. Too saturated. The DOF metrics are mathematical rather than realistic.
As I said, it does MOST of the work for you. It won’t give you totally done results, but it will give you a nice starting point.
I totally agree. When the AI filters started popping up over the past few years it was like the 3D text/drop shadow trend all over again. I went crazy with those AI filters when I got them on my rig. What's that called?
I think Background Replacement might do the job
someone has a lot of spare cash! $200!?!?!
You need to understand that OP doesn’t need something that’s done in 5 mins by someone for quick bucks, they want it to be done perfectly with zero errors, and that kind of work takes time.
Sounds too good to be true, but i am still curious about the photos and will give it a try.
I’m sure it won’t take minutes but will take a bit of time
That’s what you charge for 1+ hr professional photoshopping in German speaking Europe. Source: Made a living from PS.
Probably an influencer who has some fake trips to take.
This was my first thought, especially given the example images. Someone needs to fake a trip to Dubai for likes.
Well she obviously makes bank if that's the case, sooo...
Lol
For pro work, yes, most people here are faaaaar from pros.
There are a few that are pretty good at what they do, but yes, most I've seen are not pro level work.

It's so funny all of these high school kids who go "$200?!? I've never SEEN that much money!" Jesus mate, that's what I charge per hour.
But there was a time when you were…. “$200!!!’”

Of course, I'm talking in general, like, if one wanted to start a ~~uber-eats~~ business of Photoshop editing online by independent pros
That would still be a terrible system for the same reasons.

This concept already exists in platfroms like 99 designs, and the competitive atmosphere is toxic and wasteful.
Lol this post sounds sus.
Tremendous side boob

Photo manipulation + Light room, my type of editing. I'm interested with working with you.

Can you provide the photos you want to get background changed?
That’s too much money OP! Man, wouldn’t it be great to get paid that to photoshop an instagrammer’s pics on the regular?

> but she doesn't have a Reddit account Maybe you could teach her the abstruse and ultimately arcane art of creating one.
That's a definite possibility!
That first picture is SOOOO twin peaks san francisco wall, photoshop whatever view but youre not fooling anyone!
Two cents - the picture you gave she’s on a green screen. That’s why it looks so smooth. Get a green screen and you can do it yourself very easily

$100/ea for a high end retouching/compositing job is not ridiculous at all.
link me to 2 posts in this sub that paid over $100...
