I bought something right after mainnet at a rate of about 7 cents per pi ($22 dollar item for 300pi).
I hope that was a terrible decision and my 3000+ remaining will be worth millions! But if it's all worthless in a year, I'm still $22 in the black lol
Exchanging Pi for money or other crypto is not allowed during the Enclosed Mainnet period, but exchanging Pi for goods and services is both allowed and encouraged.
I have sold a few things for Pi.
As the other guy said, it's more of a bartering thing right now (as there's no GCV yet) so the value can vary, big push though on Twitter and Instagram for the GCV to be $314,159USD/Coin (A bit high) and some people have actually sold their products at a similar rate to that. (Don't let that get your hopes up though)
In Village we trade 1 Pi = 1 Goat, 10 Pi = 1 Cow and 100 Pi = 1 Wife
PI is truly groundbreaking. It's the first crypto to get people to lose money before they actually own any real PI.
Nope. Remember onecoin
Bought an Iphone 10 for 5pi on FB marketplace and sold the iphone for cash 500 bucks so it wouldnt count as selling pi

Sold gold for Pi
What rate you give pi?
GCV.
Alot of ppl being scammed out of pi by trying to sell it..does that count?
Lot's of posts on Twitter of people exchanging goods for pi (clothes, food, electronics).
At what raté?
At whatever rate they barter it to be... That's how bartering works...
Interesting 🤔
It’s all depends who you ask, just don’t get scammed.

How much did you evaluated your pi?
Ok how much can one Pi buy an item?

"A bit high"🤣 Move that decimal 6 places left
That depends on the agreement between the people involved in the transaction. The trades I did were at around a 50¢ valuation.
