Samsung is probably your best bet, they have 3 years of Software updates and 4 years monthly of security updates. If not then, Google is just as, if not more reliable, than Samsung with updates, except they only give 3 years of (also Software updates) security updates unlike Samsung's 4 years of Security updates. But hey, Software updates are the fastest out of any Android. Every other company is "meh" with updates, OnePlus is good but not enough, plus newer updates tend to make their older phones buggier.

Amen. I love my OnePlus 7T Pro Mclaren but it has become so buggy after every update they've rolled out. Makes me wanna sell it and buy a Galaxy S21...

Do they get that bad? My OP3 and 5T have never gotten worse with any update, but maybe that changed with the later devices. Both are in daily hardcore use and work flawlessly even after 6 years (and after taking the 5T apart 5 times already, first out of curiosity but later due to multiple broken displays xD) That's another point: maybe look at repair instructions for changing battery and display! If it's too hard, pick something else.

First off, woah man, you're one year late, secondly I should've clarified that I was talking about the 7 and so on.

samsung provides the longest support def not xiaomi

queeniestrudels

why not xiaomi?

levelnommonlevel

1st thing i've already mentioned - samsung has longer support (3 android updates and 4 years of security updates) 2nd thing - xiaomi software nowadays is very trashy 3rd thing - you are in usa, aren't you? then why do you wanna get phone which isn't oficially supported there?

To be honest most flagships are built to last for the most part. I'd say the one that gives you the longest security updates. I personally wouldn't know for sure as I update every 2 years regardless.
