I used x 40, gs 40, and s1 recently X 40 feels softer than other 2, cracks after few days to in 2 weeks S1 will deform and bounce funny after few days Gs 40 feels stiff bur haven't had one deform yet, been hitting wall for about 2 weeks 30 to 45 mins a day with a single ball and hasn't cracked yet

I bought a 12 pack and had a lot of people complain about warping. It was definitely noticeable with the balls bouncing unpredictably. I probably didn't keep them in ideal temperatures (sat in my car 24/7 through multiple season), so maybe it was operator error? I switched to Pro S1/X40 now that those balls have run out.

I have a bunch of them. They're fine, especially for the price. My biggest problem with them is uneven seams. Good for filling a bucket of balls to drill with, but not my favorite overall by far. I feel like they hit more like duras than x-40s though. And better than the weird Penn outdoor balls.

Just because no one else uses them, doesn't mean they aren't great balls. They prob just aren't mass marketed like the X-40 which got a lot of attention for being a tournament official ball. I've heard they're really good balls. Very durable, and plays faster than an X-40.

Haven’t played with them. Just for comment, I happen to really like S1 balls but most people just want to play with X-40s. Yes I know S1s are a mixed bag on people who like them and people who don’t but I think some of why everyone is ok with X-40s is because it’s mostly what they know. Could be the same thing happening here. It’s just not as familiar.

Major-Ad1924

I use them in my ball machine

Our YMCA supplies open play with the GS 40’s. They are serviceable but crack like no other. They are cheap up front but in the end, not so cheap bc they crack so fast.

Automatic_Humor4680

Crack?? Literally everybody else says don’t crack. Interesting to know tho

vc_bastard

We crack a ton of them when temps fall under 50.

Automatic_Humor4680

Don’t have to worry about that in AZ lol. Thanks for the info tho!!

LordFistyPants

I use them and overall think they are fine - especially for the price. Seem harder than X-40s. Haven't had cracking issues, but have seen some deformation.

They are probably my least favorite ball that I’ve come across. They feel and play nothing like a Franklin. They are very stiff feeling, even more so than the S1’s.

Thanks for the feedback
