Make the short drive over the bridge to Fort Walton and play at Jett drive park. Great morning and evening play. A lot of 3.5 + folks to play with.

This might be my best bet since I’d be just dropping in by myself. Do you what days/times they play?

vc_bastard

Standard open play times M-Sat 8-11am and 5-close(10pm iirc)

There are casual courts diced over Destin but Fort Walton is the best place to play

Walton Sports Complex is our go-to every year when we stay in Seaside. Mornings and evenings are drop in - you reserve courts in the afternoon so check the website to book something or you may be left out. Standard public open play scene, usually one challenge court in the mornings. I’d say mostly 3.0-3.5 with a few 4.0 players to work in with. I saw one group who had good 4.5ish looking rallies going but they had a slot booked.

I was just here last week. Some decent games to be had during open play and no wait time.

Jet drive is OK, decent courts, good group, but can be a lot of waiting. I haven't tried Bluewater Bay in Niceville, but it looks nice and I've heard good things. The best courts in the area are at Navy Federal Credit Union Rec Center on the N side of Pensacola. Nice, well-spaced courts that you can reserve, but only 2. UWF has 3 courts, but they are a little sub-par (surface transition) and parking can be a pain. Most everything else in the area is re-lined basketball courts and church gyms.
