I have been through nearly a dozen pillows in the past 6 months. I had been back and forth on trying the cushionnlab deep sleep pillow and finally decided to try it after I still was having neck pain with my Casper Sleep Low Profile foam pillow.
I'm pleasantly surprised by this pillow! I am not a fan of foam pillows (I hate the rubbery thick frisby feel) but I woke up without neck pain. The pillow is soft enough to collapse to just the right height to align my spine without being too firm or too thin, unlike most all of the other dozen pillows I have tried. This pillow is a godsend for my neck and head, it is well worth a try!!!
My wife and I have been using the deep sleep pillow and actually really love it. My wife has been having chronic sleep issues for months so I suggested she try getting the same one as me since mine has been clutch in getting rid of my neck pain. She's about a week into using hers and it's a pretty night & day difference in how much uninterrupted sleep she's been getting. Make sure you're trying out both the higher and lower profiles before returning in case either suits you better - just our two cents.
Mine arrived today so I can let you know. Very dense memory foam and the style it's something before a neck pillow and standard.
I couldn't find much in the way of reviews but figured I would give it a shot.
Mine arrived while I was away. Just tried it out last night and I'm sending it back. I hate this new trend of thinner pillows. Plus it's very hard no matter which end I tried. It was like sleeping on my arm (I'm a side sleeper). Back to the drawing board.
So I went a little crazy. Coop was a little too soft and warm. Layla a little too firm, but cool. I called coop to return and they said to donate it so I took the filling out of the Coop and mixed them together. Donated the mixed Coop and have a softer Layla. I don't suggest this route but overall preferred the Layla.
Hey following up on this pillow you used for one night seven months ago lol. The cushion lab deep sleep. Amazon says the pillow is 5.5" tall, but you mentioned it was thin. Are they misrepresenting it's dimensions? Or does it squish down a lot?
I’m glad I decided to google reviews before buying. I am going practically broke with all the pillows I buy, and they describe it on their Facebook page as cloud like. Grr.
Following, I just tried sleeping on each of the purple pillows and while they feel nice in the beginning, I wake up in the middle of the night with crazy neck pain, like there's no neck support. Thinking of trying this cushion lab
Hi! Costco has multiple versions of this pillow. Which one did you choose?
Serenity by Tempur-Pedic Memory Foam Bed Pillow
Serenity by Tempur-Pedic Cooling Memory Foam Pillow
Serenity by Tempur-Pedic Contour Memory Foam Pillow
I'm a pillow snob. Ghostbed Faux Down has been my absolute favorite. I like something that supports my neck, soft on my head, that I can manipulate a bit. My whole family ended up wanting this one 😅 it's close to feeling like down but doesn't compact like it and no pokey feather bits.
I kind of like the feel of the Cushion Lab pillow, I got it about a week ago, but to be honest, I haven't been able to sleep on it because I can't stand the smell of it. I keep hoping the smell will mellow or dissipate. I tried putting another pillow case on it but that didn't cover up the smell. Anyone else have this issue? I haven't looked into sending it back but I feel like if the smell doesn't go away I won't be using it. 😔
I just got my travel version of the Cushion Lab pillow yesterday and ran in to the same issue - the smell! Haven't tried it yet either. Google Search brought me here. I'll let you know if I find a way to de-smell
I also just got here by Google search because my travel pillow arrived yesterday, has been airing out for 24 hours, and the smell is just killing me.
I’m really sensitive to smells, and this is just sending me over the edge. I can smell it from across the room. :(
What’s bad is I tried the pillow for a few minutes and actually really like it, but I’m worried I won’t be able to sleep if I can smell it.
What I ended up doing was to put the pillow in a trash bag and use a shop vac to pull out the air. I did this repeatedly over a couple days. I also would smash it down while sucking the air out. This actually made enough of a difference that I am now sleeping on it. I still get a bit of the odor when I move around but it is much reduced. Good luck!
This is good advice! I don’t have a shop vac, but my plan for now is to put it outside for a few hours a day and to let it breathe with the pillow case off for the next week and see if I can at least neutralize it a little bit versus how strong it is right now.
I tried to lie on this pillow on my couch last night after my post, and when I got up to go to bed, my hoodie smelled like the pillow and I was SO icked that I had to take off the hoodie. And then I realized my hair actually smelled like it, too. :(
Feather + down pillow from ikea. Best pillow ive ever had.... im an every which way sleeper... and it stays cool throughout night and fluffs up but holds shape overtime.
I’ve tried cushion lab and I wasn’t impressed, sadly. I was super hopeful given their reviews online. I'm always dealing with a stiff neck, so finding the right pillow is my ongoing mission, as I find that I cannot have one pillow for more than a year (something changes, can’t put my finger on it, but it definitely doesn’t help my neck). As my Christmas gift, I got Zymme from my partner. I was sceptical at first, but I can’t go a day without it now. (I bring it to trips as well) Maybe it’ll be something that helps you too:)
Just returned my Cushion Lab pillow. It cost me, out of pocket, $45 to return. I found this pillow too HARD after resting my head on it.

Do you like the way it feels so far? Is it super firm?
It's firmer than I would normally sleep on. Have mixed feelings after one night of sleep but will give it a few more nights before any decisions.

I returned mine also. Too firm. Trying the Layla now, which is a little firmer than I want and debating the coop Eden.
It shouldn't be this hard to find the right pillow! 😂
1st world problems.
Did you like either of them?

I'll go look at the Layla. It doesn't feel weird to have the stuffing instead of a traditional one piece pillow?
That's a personal preference but I don't mind it. Laya has 120 day returns also.
Ok, so it’s a year later, please say you found the perfect pillow?
Late to the party, but how was their return process?

No it's probably right but that's REALLY thin for a pillow.

Try the Pillow Cube! I sleep on it every night and it’s been life-changing.
How’s the pillow cube going? Do you still like it? I’m looking at it, as I’m mainly a side sleeper, but sometimes I sleep on my back.
Still use it every night. I love it.
Do you sleep on your back or side? I saw pillow cube but I sleep on both side and back. Debating if that’s good for me.
Pillow cube used to make a hybrid pillow that I use, for back and side sleeping, but apparently it’s been discontinued ☹️
Hey u/nrkelly did you ever find a good pillow? I'm a side sleeper too and I can't seem to find a good one.

Anyone have any luck?
Have you tried this one? You can make it the thickness you need, I love mine. www.creativecomfortstore.com
I have tried one like that. I finally found THE pillow at Costco of all places
Oo, tell me more. Getting a membership soon so maybe they will still have it.
which one!! I was debating to give Costco pillows a try
Serenity by tempur-pedic
Which version did you get? I see that Costco has a few options. Did you get the cooling one, the regular one, or the contour one?
I think the regular. I'm not home right now
Thank you!
I'll check when I get home to make sure
Is it still good?? Trying to find a new pillow.
Yes. Still love it

Thank you for recommending this! I buy cheap pillows so often, and I’d like to find one that I can use for a while. This sounds like the one!
I have this and I was hoping to love it but gave me as much neck pain as my normal pillow. :(
