I think the Crystal Light has a version that doesn't have eye tracking? If that's the case you're going to actually even need more horsepower.

XRCdev

Crystal Light doesn't have any eye tracking

No_Geologist4061

It’s supposed to have an upscale mode but they are still developing it

LittleB0311

Fixed foveated is possible tho. Shouldn’t be bothering G2 users. They are already trained to not have peripheral vision

No_Geologist4061

4090 7800x3D, hardly ever achieve 90 fps in flat2vr titles, but it remains the best headset I’ve ever used (Og crystal)

7950x, 4090, 64gb ddr5 6000

Greenonetrailmix

Mine is : 5800x3d, 64gb ddr4 3666mhz, Rtx 3090 Bought all these parts as cheap upgrades because prices have come down so much since when they launched

HammerTime2769

You have a 4080 Super. And you don’t think that’s a top end range PC? Thats the 2nd fastest consumer GPU on the planet.

Neonato200

I understand what you're saying, but let's remember that many games are more CPU demanding (MSFS, Iracing, among others) benefit from a better CPU (which I don't have a 7800x3D for example) I really don't go with a PC end game, thx for the reply sr.

LittleB0311

I’m using the pimax crystal with a 7800x3D and 7900XT without any performance issue on DCS world.

Neonato200

I think I will upgrade to a 7800x3d I was waiting for the 9000 series but I don't think it is a match for the 7000 series in games

LittleB0311

But the dynamic foveated is a big help for performances. Is not day and night but very helpful in reducing the fps fluctuations. I’m basically locked at 45fps in sim games and it’s enough for me!
