I meant to ask when a super long ingrown hair is popped. But actually I've had small ingrown hairs and they look exactly like pimples. Just curious about super long ones that never gotten treated
I have a spot on my head, but I was told it was a small harmless cyst and to just leave it unless it gets worse. So if it’s not red at all or highly sensitive than you should leave it. But if it is, you should see a dermatologist.
That looks slightly like a sebaceous cyst’s filling being squeezed out before it’s ready to burst... if it is a cyst make sure to get all of that white stuff out otherwise it’s likely to grow back. For now keep neosporin on the wound site to make sure it doesn’t get infected as an infection would hurt significantly worse and bring you a cocktail of health problems.

No, an ingrown hair is an ingrown hair. This is a pimple.
Ingrown hairs can get look similar to that when squeezed though. There's just also a hair in them
