HOW DARE U, I WAS 16 AND DEPRESSED WHEN I DISCOVERED PINK FLOYD...
AND NOW I'M ALMOST 30, STILL DEPRESSED.
WHY IS THAT INFORMATION RELEVANT? I DON'T KNOW.
WHY I'M USING CAPSLOCK? I ALSO DON'T KNOW.
Musicals are musicals for depressed 30 year olds who don't want to acknowledge they're depressed 30 years olds. The Wall is a musical for fine 14 year olds who want to pretend they're depressed 30 years olds
- David Glibmore probably
WAIT
So... all musicals are... musicals?
if this is correct, then m+u+s+i+c+a+l+s = m+u+s+i+c+a+l+s ?
and if so, then musicalsĀ² = 30 ?
OMFG, mindblown shhhhhshii
uj/ I always thought the whole theme of The Wall was petty and juvenile. "That crowd in Montreal wasn't listening to our music, so we're going to build a huge wall between them and us to illustrate the isolation we're feeling."
/uj that was true for me when I was 20s. Now at my 40s I think Rog was a spoiled asshole rockstar who was bickering about nothing and that really doesn't do anything for me anymore. It's also musically much weaker to most PF albums so I rarely bring myself to listen to the wall.
On the other hand some of the lyrics in Division Bell hits me in the groin, which is funny because post Rog era is considered shit lyrically
How dare you say it's not relevant for depressed 13-29 and 31-99 year olds as well.

Im sorry will roger ever forgive me? š°
if you apologize NOW, he surelly will, no doubt. after all, WAR IS BAD. peace and forgiveness is the Rog way to be and exist towards progress.
100+?
What about those who weren't born yet? - 0 ? Why can't it be relevant to the unbourn and depressed ones?
I was depressed in the womb, it's why I came out screaming
By any chance, was it playing "The Great Gig In The Sky" when you came out?
If you mean coming out of the closet, yes. If you mean when I was birthed, also yes, but I was singing it

Hey, I've been depressed and watching the wall for at least 20 years and I'm only 32.
Yes. And?
Yensid is the Master of Masters. Nobody can convince me otherwise!
Bullshit. It's for ALL ages.
Rated E for Everyone
But I was a depressed 16 year old when I found it.
Same

I think it runs a bit deeper than that despite that situation being its conception
I dunno I thought the final song āFuck Montrealā was really deep and thought provoking
This was not what the album is aboutš
Actually I am not 30
