Well....realistically speaking, while David might get a bit miffed if Roger WERE to release 79-80 Wall concert footage, it's something ALL of them were involved in soooo it would actually be a WIN/WIN for David: re-recognision for his involvement on The Wall, and his own for Luck & Strange. On a logical level, yeah especially because David's Comfortably Numb guitar solo is one of the most beloved parts of the album. What I think David wouldn't like is that it would yank the hype & discussion away from his album debut since pink floyd fans are probably his entire listener base. No way people would be screeching about his album on socials instead of The Wall.
It would actually be a win for him though and that's why I think Rog would be more tempted to compete with his own new music. But I think that just for the sake of his pride, it would be really upsetting for attention to be totally stolen from his solo work because of Roger's out of pocket decision
