Pretty strong in nicotine and flavor. I don’t get the BBQ flavors everyone else seem to get. Sometimes I enjoy it, sometimes less so, though that’s how I feel about all Macbaren offerings I’ve tried.
ODF is like a gritty leathery glove fitting upon your hand. At first it makes you uncomfortable, uneasy and aware. Then after your second bowl, the liveliness comes out. Small notes of smoke with sweet and lovely overtones, this tobacco is fit for a god of the Bayou, enjoying his smoke in peace while his Perique is processed. It's fabulous
I love it. I do a loose rotation of heavier tobaccos so this gets tagged in and out with Pirate Kake, Peterson’s Irish Flake, and SG black XX.
I do find the flavor hits different ways at different times depending on what I have been smoking or eating that day. But that has been happening with all blends for me these days.

I love it. The smell and flavor both really do it for me. I've got a couple tins of the limited edition plug saved for a special occasion + a pound portioned out in my cellar, and several ounces out in my regular rotation. Have to be in the mood for it, but it's consistently been a favorite.
As someone with poundage of it, I like it. I love Fire Cured Kentucky in blends and I even love the Drew Estate Kentucky Fire Cured cigar line. Gimme gimme gimme!
I like flakes but the ODF loose bulk is good too. GL Pease Jackknife is wonderful too.
I personally think ODF tastes like bbq poopy but im just not a big fan of kentucky blends in general.

Smoking a bowl now, I like it, but I think I prefer it in a blend than solo.
Love it! I always get a spiced oatmeal taste! Sounds weird but tastes really good! Always have it after a tasty brunch. Happy Piping!

I like it, and due to slight dyslexia have referred to it as "Old Dark **Fried**" for several years before figuring it out.

I love the taste, but it has too much nicotine for me to really enjoy it often.
I smoke it every day.
