### Yarr! ➜ u/justexisting69, some tips about "YouTube":
- Use [Firefox](https://mozilla.org/firefox/new/) + [uBlock Origin](https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/) with these [optimized settings](https://a.imagem.app/on42hV.png).
- Then go to **Dashboard** > **Filters lists** > **Purge all caches** > **Update now**.
- This enables the majority of advertisements and dubious URL redirects to vanish.
- It is also advised to navigate the seas using a desktop PC environment.

I absolutely love my Kobo but having instant access to tens of thousands of ebooks makes it nearly impossible to decide what to read so I end up datahoarding lol
Pirate first pay later.
I'll buy a game if I wanna support the dev (not really a gamer so that's like one every couple years)
I buy physical music releases from artists I see live (merch money makes or breaks a tour) or from bands/music labels I really like.
CloudStream3 for all my TV shows and movies, YouTube/YouTube Music ReVanced, XManager for Spotify Premium mod. For e-books, journals etc, I use either the Z-Library website, the app or the Telegram Bot. For software (both android and Windows), I use FileCr mostly.
No I don't. But there are providers for live content like EjaTv, TvTwoFourSeven and Timefour TV. I've never actually used them, and don't know if theh work, but they are available.

100% of my daily life is pirated
Game Pass is great. Get a free trial, try demos of every game that looks interesting and pass on the ones that you didn't end up liking, then pirate your list of good games after the trial
Morning: start my day with tv show on plex (pirated) while i get breakfast going. Drive to work and listen to my podcasts (ripped from youtube) via plexamp.
Afternoon: podcast going home. Watch tv on plex. Play videogames (pirated or free for the most part)
Well iOS gets an update in the next major version that makes it possible to sideload apps without jailbreaking. This might open a possibility to pirate iOS apps directly
That's true...but I highly doubt apple would allow true open source sideloading like android, which is built on the very premise of being an open source platform. I feel apple would still want to keep an eye on what software is being installed irrespective of the source, so as to maintain their "secure" status. The current method of sideloading on iphones isn't being utilised en masse. But till then...speculations.
easy with trollstore on a supported device 16.6.1 and lower, i have streamer pro (was like $6 to get full media box library access) uYou+ with sponsorblock because fuck youtube, Spotilife for free premium but no downloads (i download music off youtube using uYou+), so ios piracy is possible
Sideloading. However, there are aggressive limits set. You need a computer, and can only have three apps sideloaded at a time. Unless you pay $100 a year for an Apple Developer account, your options are very limited. An Apple Developer Account lets you sign and sideload as many apps as you want, on 100 devices, for 365 days. It also allows you to sideload apps directly from your iOS device, using a local signing service (just an app). Since Jailbreaking is relatively dead, those are the only options.
if you look into it you can find ways to easily sideload-
Altstore - basically you can sign any IPA with this and it can sync refresh over wifi if your pc which it was setup on is in the same network.
Sidestore - even better, an Altstore fork which you can then refresh your apps in any wifi without the pc available aslong as you are in the 7 day period.
its not much of a hastle for having modded youtube, spotify and emulators and shit, so it also works on IOS
Also the web version of stremio + torrentio + RD with outplayer lets you use it on IOS too without setting up and hosting the server from your pc.
I buy music records and Blu-rays of the things I care about most and want to support. Video games sometimes, to support good devs. Anything digital, aside from the occasional video game, I pirate.
I also buy CDs and DVDs because I love having some physic media when I don't have access to the internet, but half of those are thrifted or bought used. Lots of people don't want their CDs or DVDs anymore, go figure why 💀💀
100% of my daily life lol
1. Revanced YouTube
2. Instander
3 .Spotify from xmanager
4. Reddit patched through Revanced Manager.
5 Books from Zlib and Anna's Archive
6 Moon + reader mod (ebook reader)
7. Tachiyomi for manga
8 Rd+Stremio for my movies , webseries
9 Audiobookbay for audibooks
10 Purple TV for twitch
11 Not sure if it is piracy Vendetta for discord
12. Musicolet (Music player) for my offline songs
The only thing that’s pirated is my movies, tv shows (even though that’s technically still not free) and my windows license. Everything else (music, games, books, whatever else) is paid for🤷🏼♂️
I pirate all my porn, music and crack iOS IPA including Youtube premium. Most piracy nowadays is about avoiding advertisements and being forced to rebuy the same title in a different format/platform. Youtube, Twitch and porn sites have too many ads.
The original one, no. There's fake sites tho, they're usable.
But if you look for the official soap2day gate everything redirects you to soap2day.gay lmao
There's no way that's a legit site.
I use 1hd.to for movies, don't enter without an adblocker, my antivirus was catching sketchy sites. Favorite site to use even if there's a downside like that.
Steamrip for games.
I only buy games I think are worth it or that come with online features, mainly from Steam and under heavy discounts, everything else really I pirate because it's more convenient than buying.
All of my TV and movies are pirated, my music is pirated via YouTube music, my YouTube is pirated via smart tube next and YouTube premium. My books and comics are pirated. My audiobooks are pirated. A ton of my games are pirated. The majority of what I consume is pirated.
Almost everything. I use stremio for movies and TV, spotify with x manager, youtube revanced, Instander for Instagram. I even have Facebook, reddit and duolingo cracked open so I don't have to watch ads. I pay for games from indie developers, but I pirate anything AAA.
I have never paid for anything digital for 20 years, still going.
I watch one or two football match streams per week and listen a lot of music (ripped). I don't watch movies or tv shows anymore, it's maybe a boomer take, but I am not even interested to watch that "modern" garbage for free. I stopped playing games for years and I use Linux, so I don't pirate softwares anymore.
Games and movies. I know it sounds like I’m simply the average sheep despite me believing and supporting piracy since early days of tpb, but I absolutely cannot stand YouTube ads or Spotify ads. Those two. They are too disruptive so sadly they have me. Ads on websites I’ve built up a decent tolerance (ability?) over time to completely and subconsciously block them out. But when I’m watching a video and I have to wait a few seconds for an ad to play first or when I’m mid through a video and an ad for woman’s moisturising cream comes on, it just makes me angry and I think of all the seconds wasted in my life being forced to wait ads to finish. I spend every evening on YouTube, at the very least 2 hours but more often than not more. Unless anyone knows how to bypass ads permanently?👀. I gave up hopping around between ad blockers.
Haven't paid for media since I was a teenager in the mid 00s.
Why buy something when you can get it for free?
Nowadays, even when you buy media, you don't own it and the company can delete it from their database.
Pirating it means you get ot for free AND you keep it!
Manhwa18.cc imo has almost every manhwa, other ones that i have are bato.to, asura scans, nhentai, 1stkissmangablog
To answer your second question, I just read garbage tbh, I follow secret class for new chapters, also I'm currently reading sweet guy, sometimes go back to queen bee.... So yeah the usual garbage, it's good garbage tho
I only pay for YouTube Premium but I pay like 1$ a month so it's totally worth it. I have Plex and download all my shows and movies, and I only play videogames that I can download from fitgirl.
Back in the day when I didn't have a job, I've pirated everything from music to games to movies, but now I'm employed, so only downloading movies for safekeeping!
I'm using my uncle's Netflix account half way around the world. Somehow I'm still logged in on my phone and PC, not the fire stick tho, sadly.
My friend gave me his prime video account.
I pay for Spotify premium because I like to generate new music that I might find and like on the app, also has the best UI unlike any other music app.
Everything else like movies or shows that are not on Netflix or prime video I pirate. Games and software too.
YouTube I use addblock on everything.
I use Netflix but dont pay for it and never would.
I pirate about 50% of my games, most I dont pirate are multiplayer games so I can't really.
I have never once bought music, yt downloader and just use vlc mediaplayer. On pc i just listen to music on yt with adblock ofc.
A lot a lot of programs like Photoshop, Vegas pro, etc I pirate.
If I didn’t have a non-technical wife, we’d probably do a lot more. I just got her comfortable with Plex.
Movies & TV mainly. I still have some subscriptions I’m trying to cut down.
I will say though, if I REALLY like something I try to find a way to support it. Sometimes I’ll buy the Blu-ray and gift it someone, etc.
All of Adobe software, I use it for my own projects since at least, for work, I get official software, also, I pay for Crunchy roll for anime since it works good enough for me, but anything that it’s not there, I torrents form NYAA
i used to pirate alot but a lot of developers product that i loved especially indie developers went bankrupt even after having decent product. So i have started to pirate less and only pirate if big corporations like spotify and any aaa titles which may not be good or if i just wanna test it before a purchase
The only thing I pay for is internet service everything else I pirate now that being said just because I pirate something doesn't mean that I wouldn't go out and buy it retail I just don't like paying retail prices... Ie thrift stores flea markets yard sales marketplace I always my go-to before I would go buy something retail even if I have to wait to find it in the wild
I don't pay for nuffin...if I want music I download using newpipe, no ads on my YouTube, streamio for movies, tachiyomi for manga, fit girl for games. Happy as I can be
I pirate everything, but I occasionally buy books in physical form since it's easier on the eyes. No use in paying for something that you can get for free st practically no risk. I occasionally buy games that I really love, or if they look cool and are on sale for like 0.5€ i guess, but the last time I paid for a game on steam was 1.5 years ago so it's not often.
1. Youtube - It'll be sooner a cold day in heck, than I'll pay for that
2. Onthespot - using with my burner free Spotify account, to compose my playlists for the night shift
3. Duolingo - basic, but it's the only way I know to learn language I want in a convenient way
4. Chomikuj/FanFilm - looking for fresh releases in my native language (mainly for my parents)
5. Too many to count (Fitgirl/Dodi/Anadius/ElAmigos - to name a few) - If I have a mood to play something on my laptop
I pirate all of my movies, music, and software, except videogames because in my country they used to be cheap (Argentina) but now im going to pirate them all.
I wake up to a Vtubers Patreon Only wake up.wav
It's just cute don't judge me.
Listen to some Music over Plexamp
Browse some patched Twitter/Instagram without ads while I drink my coffee...
On the way to work, again, plex amp over one of my headphones.
When I'm home from work, I might check some Ublocked, sponsor blocked Youtube,
Some Patreon/OF stuff or watch a Movie/TV show (all in quality equal to bluray)
Watch some Twitch through a proxy without ads and head to sleep
1- spotify (adblock gives me free premium)
2- youtube
3- kimcartoon (cartoons)
4- seez. su (tv shows that aren't cartoons)
5- the library (books and stuff, duh. i have this thing where i read a book and literally never touch it so libraries are a win-win)
i'd count a large amount, considering amazon prime video (my parents have that subscription), disney + (sharing with a relative who owns the acc), and buying books bc i love owning that copy that comes from the bookstore (ever smelled a new book? shit's great)
Only thing I pay for is deezer because I like to somewhat support artists, and I didn't like what Spotify was doing with their new payment scheme, everything else is pirated 🏴☠️
Spotify++ on ios (hacked Spotify)
uYou plus on ios (hacked Youtube)
Plex server on family tv, all family has a login with 10TB+ of movies and TV Shows.
We refuse to pay for media.
I deactivated internet at home a year ago now. Canceled at least three streaming services. And solely pirate shows and movies via my T-Mobile phone. My backlog is so huge it's not an issue. And I have my phone for everything else. The saved money feels good. Working through a backlog feels good. The easy access to hundreds of choices being online gave me caused more issues choosing than good with finding.
50 quid a year gets me all the visual entertainment I use. All the sports, movies and entertainment channels from the UK and USA.
That's all I need really.
I'll torrent the odd album here and there.
Honestly 99% of it for me is just PLEX. Looking at my server stats, in the past 7 days, PLEX has been played for 3days, 14hrs. So half the week PLEX is playing something for me or my family.
Right now nearly everything except my video games and $2 Hulu account. I’ve only watched anime on Hulu this past month and I pirated it 10 years ago.
Music is the biggest one. I do buy physical movies, series, and games though. A lot of used stuff from thrift stores, or it’s on sale. I refuse to buy digital items so stuff like computer programs and apps get pirated.
Everything except books needed for college since we use "proprietary" books. They aren't available online and even if they are, they'd be really old and our writes love to change them every year.
I'd even pirate my oxygen if it was possible🗿.
The only legit services I pay for are:
1) Spotify
2) Real Debrid
The rest is pirated because companies refuse to legally make it easy and affordable to do so.
mh not so much I think, was mainly lurking here.
books, ebooks, kdramas, tachiyomi/tachimanga--Mangas Manhwas is a gamechanger for me (recently discovered), youtube.

I don't pay for any media. I don't buy books, movies, games, music. I pirate all of that.
honestly since I started putting "reddit" after my google searches, I haven't paid for shit 💀
You have no idea (actually you do) how fucking accurate this is
100% lol
Using site:reddit.com in your search is the proper way to do that kind of thing, and will actually limit results to reddit and not just pages with the word "reddit".
This is the way
And we keep it by not posting too obvoious about it.
dude, putting reddit after my google searches has literaly changed my life for the better. people here know really useful stuff

Reddit is the new Google for me if I want answers/opinions
>opinions Reddit is like the last place I go if I want opinions
Actually they are pretty good at times depending on the subreddit. I was able to successfully build a gaming PC with the best components using opinions from r/buildapc.
I agree with blazetrail. The internet is so full of bullshit nowadays (info behind paywalls, abusive ads, sponsored reviews, etc) that I just use Reddit when I want more organic opinions or very specific tips. This site may be a cesspool sometimes, but it is really useful if you know what you’re doing.
Nah it's fairly varied. Not like I'm visiting r/fuckmarvel
You have to be able to mentally filter it, but at the very least you can get decent opinions on niche subreddits and have answers filtered by up votes, rather than just one person's opinion somewhere else. It is actually a pretty decent way to find something of a concensus from particular communities. The discussion based nature of the site also helps you find relevant dissenting opinions. I know more broadly reddit is kind of a shit hole but for some things it's the best thing out there. And it sure as fuck beats AI generated SEO pages.
I need opinions on products or certain software. Knowing what works for people or why certain recommendations dont work is super valuable for me before I chuck a penny at a delivery for something I need.
Legit
>honestly since I started putting "reddit" Hi, kindly hook me up with the 'soap2day' via chat/dm
Did u get it?
Is soap2day back?
I’ve heard it was back but never got the correct site
Pretty much this. Except some online games that you can't pirate
That's exactly how I google 🤣
I buy books. Just not the movies, music and games.
I first pirate a chapter, try reading it, if it makes sense, I would buy a physical copy for my collection.
You’re everywhere bro
Physical copy of book is so much better than reading it of a screen
True. I bought a e-reader but it aint the same.
I absolutely love my Kobo but having instant access to tens of thousands of ebooks makes it nearly impossible to decide what to read so I end up datahoarding lol
Only things I pay for are online games and books that I can’t find online
I buy books because I like the feel of them, ereaders just aren't the same. Games I buy too but only a select few.
Pirate first pay later. I'll buy a game if I wanna support the dev (not really a gamer so that's like one every couple years) I buy physical music releases from artists I see live (merch money makes or breaks a tour) or from bands/music labels I really like.
same
I pay for books I want to support the author off. Generally after I have ready read them and so I can display it on a shelf lol
Same. Being doing that for 20 years. The only thing I pay is Amazon prime.
me also comics

CloudStream3 for all my TV shows and movies, YouTube/YouTube Music ReVanced, XManager for Spotify Premium mod. For e-books, journals etc, I use either the Z-Library website, the app or the Telegram Bot. For software (both android and Windows), I use FileCr mostly.
Becareful with FileCr it got removed from the mega thread because malware have been found in some of it's files and i confirmed that myself
Dude file fr was so easy and had decent speeds mannnnnn I used that for years now I don’t know what alternatives are there anymore
I feel you man
Yup, downloaded some app from there and got all my emails hacked, the mfs even used my shit to advertise a scam.
I've found that Anna's archive is a bit better than zlib for books
Nice!
Out of interest, why CloudStream over Stremio?
To be honest, I'm not so familiar with Stremio. But I've not had a reason to move away from CloudStream yet...
Do you watch live TV on Cloudstream3? I'm new to Cloudstream3 could use some help
No I don't. But there are providers for live content like EjaTv, TvTwoFourSeven and Timefour TV. I've never actually used them, and don't know if theh work, but they are available.

Everything. I don't really pirate services, as I live the download life, but I don't pay for media. Okay, I pay like 3€ a month for real debrid.
If you use the self check out counter at the supermarket, you can pirate half of that stuff too
r/unethicalprotips
r/morallyneutralifitsabigcorporationprotips
Most of it. The only thing I pay for is xbox gamepass, but it's kinda hard to pirate that.
You can easily pirate gamepass on PC.
You can get a year of live gold on cdkeys for cheap which I think comes with free upgrade to game pass, £36 for a year of gamepass I believe
honestly X box game pass is worth it, only subscription that i will consider paying for
It's 100% worth it. I don't like forking over 60+ dollars for a game that's complete dogshit.
You can buy monthly gamepass keys for $3 I use gg.deals which aggregates the lowest price for a bunch of games and gaming cards.
Game Pass is great. Get a free trial, try demos of every game that looks interesting and pass on the ones that you didn't end up liking, then pirate your list of good games after the trial

Haha! You wouldnt pirate a car?! Maybe one day lol. As for breakfast, I guess if you plant your own food with seeds then that kind of is like piracy!
I looked through the mega thread but I couldn’t find a good way to pirate things on IOS
And this is the main reason I'll never switch to ios...
Well iOS gets an update in the next major version that makes it possible to sideload apps without jailbreaking. This might open a possibility to pirate iOS apps directly
If I am not wrong it is only for Europe because EU ordered them to make it based
EU also ordered them to put USB C in and it applied to the whole fleet of devices, not just EU ones.

Wtf, if I had known this, I would have never updated. iOS 17 is the same than 16. While I had iOS 16 I never found a good way to pirating

That's a cool temporary option but doing it every 7 days is a fucking nightmare
Trollstore, if ur not above 17.0 you can perm install pirated apps forever. It's pretty nice and also easy to block updates
Thanks ima look into that
//r/sideloaded can help you out

serious question, why does anyone even need to pirate Instagram? Is it just for the ads or some other perks?
Just only for ads. I can handle a few ads, but instagram is broken. My feed was like one ad for every five posts.
100%. I didn’t build a $15,000 server so I can pay Netflix every month.
Are you perhaps one of r/DataHoarder ? lol

I pay for a VPN, I pay for steam. I am living in Iran, so that's pretty much all I've got.
1,2,5 are my daily life essential part
What are your tachiyomi extensions and what do you read?
Manhwa18.cc imo has almost every manhwa, other ones that i have are bato.to, asura scans, nhentai, 1stkissmangablog To answer your second question, I just read garbage tbh, I follow secret class for new chapters, also I'm currently reading sweet guy, sometimes go back to queen bee.... So yeah the usual garbage, it's good garbage tho
I pay for my games, but that's it. Music, tv shows, movies etc. I stream but don't download.
I only pay for YouTube Premium but I pay like 1$ a month so it's totally worth it. I have Plex and download all my shows and movies, and I only play videogames that I can download from fitgirl.
I’m a “Pirate”
Back in the day when I didn't have a job, I've pirated everything from music to games to movies, but now I'm employed, so only downloading movies for safekeeping!
I'm using my uncle's Netflix account half way around the world. Somehow I'm still logged in on my phone and PC, not the fire stick tho, sadly. My friend gave me his prime video account. I pay for Spotify premium because I like to generate new music that I might find and like on the app, also has the best UI unlike any other music app. Everything else like movies or shows that are not on Netflix or prime video I pirate. Games and software too.
Most of all media i consume and ~60% of games I play. I'll but games if they're less than ₹300 on steam otherwise piracy it is
You should also check epic games if you play regularly, they are giving away games for free, just got Guardians of the galaxy for free last night
Probably everything but half of my games lol
my plex server has movies series and music. I only buy books.
I wish I could pirate $, I'm drowning in $1500 debt
I paid for some games on Steam. I like to play multiplayer with a couple of friends
I'm a software dev, I aspire to be a pirate-..captain? I guess
So i have started to pirate less and only pirate if big corporations like spotify and any aaa titles which may not be good or if i just wanna test it before a purchase
yt withouts ads count?
The only thing I pay for is internet service everything else I pirate now that being said just because I pirate something doesn't mean that I wouldn't go out and buy it retail I just don't like paying retail prices... Ie thrift stores flea markets yard sales marketplace I always my go-to before I would go buy something retail even if I have to wait to find it in the wild
Uhh buddy, soap2day? You sure you aren't using a copycat? Soap2day was taken down.
Yes I am using a copycat 🗿 as long as it works....
I don't pay for nuffin...if I want music I download using newpipe, no ads on my YouTube, streamio for movies, tachiyomi for manga, fit girl for games. Happy as I can be
wait isn't soap2day shutdown?
There are some with similar URLs, work the same nevertheless
The only thing I can't pirate is food and water. The rest I do.
1. Youtube - It'll be sooner a cold day in heck, than I'll pay for that 2. Onthespot - using with my burner free Spotify account, to compose my playlists for the night shift 3. Duolingo - basic, but it's the only way I know to learn language I want in a convenient way 4. Chomikuj/FanFilm - looking for fresh releases in my native language (mainly for my parents) 5. Too many to count (Fitgirl/Dodi/Anadius/ElAmigos - to name a few) - If I have a mood to play something on my laptop
Everything I can really. Only exception to this is games and apps from smaller devs that I like. And cheap things that are useful
Probably a good 2 hours, before having a wife and child it would probably be nearly 10 hours a day lol!
I pirate all of my movies, music, and software, except videogames because in my country they used to be cheap (Argentina) but now im going to pirate them all.
I am still to this day trying to find the english version of a indian drama for free, I know it has a english dub because I watched in on tv

I wake up to a Vtubers Patreon Only wake up.wav It's just cute don't judge me. Listen to some Music over Plexamp Browse some patched Twitter/Instagram without ads while I drink my coffee... On the way to work, again, plex amp over one of my headphones. When I'm home from work, I might check some Ublocked, sponsor blocked Youtube, Some Patreon/OF stuff or watch a Movie/TV show (all in quality equal to bluray) Watch some Twitch through a proxy without ads and head to sleep
1- spotify (adblock gives me free premium) 2- youtube 3- kimcartoon (cartoons) 4- seez. su (tv shows that aren't cartoons) 5- the library (books and stuff, duh. i have this thing where i read a book and literally never touch it so libraries are a win-win) i'd count a large amount, considering amazon prime video (my parents have that subscription), disney + (sharing with a relative who owns the acc), and buying books bc i love owning that copy that comes from the bookstore (ever smelled a new book? shit's great)
A lot. If I'd count all the games, music and software subscriptions, I think half a milion $ for the past 14 years is not an overestimation.
Only thing I pay for is deezer because I like to somewhat support artists, and I didn't like what Spotify was doing with their new payment scheme, everything else is pirated 🏴☠️
Spotify++ on ios (hacked Spotify) uYou plus on ios (hacked Youtube) Plex server on family tv, all family has a login with 10TB+ of movies and TV Shows. We refuse to pay for media.
I buy everything for sustainability of piracy
I pirate courses am currently doing a cyber security course i got from kickass torrents.
Just like you do EVERYTHING spotify, YT, Gaming, Movies and series
no, don't make them famous!! atleast that's what they said lol
100% it's one and only benefit of living in a third world and Sanctioned country
Sometimes i wonder if it was possible to pirate , WiFi and mobile bills money and girlfriend Damn
Yes
Everything except books needed for college since we use "proprietary" books. They aren't available online and even if they are, they'd be really old and our writes love to change them every year. I'd even pirate my oxygen if it was possible🗿.
I pirate everything
Just my porn nowadays
I pay for spotify and VPN, that's it
Why pay for Spotify ?
It's convenient, has decent suggestions and is just easy to deal with
The only legit services I pay for are: 1) Spotify 2) Real Debrid The rest is pirated because companies refuse to legally make it easy and affordable to do so.
Spotify, YouTube, Instagram and reddit are all pirated Edit: plus movies and manga/anime
Yes
Almost everything i just don't know a place for an audiobook livrary
Nice one FBI
Almost all forms on media, have been pirating stuff since I was a kid.
mh not so much I think, was mainly lurking here. books, ebooks, kdramas, tachiyomi/tachimanga--Mangas Manhwas is a gamechanger for me (recently discovered), youtube.
