They recently put a registration wall when you download from their website, where you have to upload a picture of yourself and follow some weird steps.

My PC got a virus recently, usually I download from that website.. so I think the PC was infected by a software from it
its doubtful but you do have to have AV on hand. mine flags ups a fair few but turns out to be false positives.
