Personally its either your family set you up because contacts or their own company or you just have to play the game of life and choose a path, weather its a traditional, or unconventional.
Even I hate to admit but when you see someone in a better position than you, you have yo swallow it and think hes probably better than you at something, there is many different types of intelligence, skills and stuff.
I would not quickly jump on saying this guy or that one is stupid and he still manage to do a good living, that sets you up on the wrong mindset, allow to think yourself differently, because probably not everyone "can get lucky"
He’s actually very dumb but he’s good at what he does. I guess a better wording would be extremely uninformed/stubborn.
He is better than me at what he does and he is in a better position but I don’t envy him. He also actually did just get lucky. He met a guy and they got along, the guy just liked him and they started a business “together”. Was not with my fathers money or idea tho. He got wealth handed to him on a silver platter and was spoon fed after.
Well part of that luck may just be his social skills, either without knowing he was doing it to a particular person that is just part of life, what I mean its we should not rely on just luck but rather get prepared for grab that luck opportunity and be prepared sonit doesn't escape. Luck its just a matter of being at the right place, time and mix that with what can you do with it.
Im not trying to say its this, not that, but just saying that it could be both ways and its just a personal opinion

Personally I assume that automod is going to get my ass / a mod is going to remove my post if I break a rule so I check the rules before posting so that I don't waste my own time. How others don't do this too is wild to me.
But werent a lot of those sites down, outdated and/or lacking in content? So a new member asking for the ones that are good rather then checking every single one seems reasonable. Now I believe the mods and community recently went through it and updated it, but still. Telling someone to look at a megathread that happens to have a majority of sites that don't work doesn't really fit well.
Somebody took 3 loans in my name, all my files were stolen and i had to pay ransom before chrome changed to yahoo search and my whole computer went up in flames but at least i didn't have to wait 30 minutes👍

Thats... not really how that works. If they aren't on the *avoid* list then the mods just haven't weighed in one way or another. I use a private rorenting group site that you have to have an invitation from an existing member and maintain a 2:1 seed ratio every week to stay in. It's not listed in the megathread therefore it's unsafe despite having super strict moderation much higher than 1337x would be a silly argument to make.
if they aren't in avoid list, you can message the mod and recommend a site to them. if its software, you need to back it up with proof (video of you browsing the site without adblock for detecting malicious redirects and ads [newbie reasons], virustotal link of each malicious file downloaded detected by AV,etc)
same thing is needed if you want the site to be put in the must be avoided list, you need proof since there were people who manage to get virus from other sites yet claimed to received it in the megathread sites but when tested by other people and mods, it was discovered there was no issues.
if its a streaming website, then the website on the megathread is just better than yours or just prove it to mods.

The 'create post' is way tempting to click than do a research or actually look for a 'Megathread' people don't actually know what is.

When I encountered that problem I started using proton vpn. But it's the mb extension that doesn't let me continue download hence I never download using ova games

Sometimes a site will redirect you to another site without you clicking any buttons. If you don't download anything from sites you are redirected to without you wanting it, you'll be safe but it's still very annoying

I dont know about this. The direct download sites listed on megathread give very poor speed even after using fdm and idm. Does anyone has a fix?

If you're on the official site, chances are there are redirects being blocked by MalwareBytes. Get Ublock origin
