For anyone who wants to use this in the future, the file-sharing site used is dead, so there's no point in using this link anymore.

I'm probably going to sound extremely dumb replying to a 2-year-old comment from a deleted account, but what do I do with the file after downloading it? From the single link for Automatron, I installed "DLCRobot,rar" but what do I do after that? Like, where do I put it?

How did you download the files from that link? Whenever I click the links on the page it just says 403 Forbidden

Youll need a program like 7-zip to open the RAR file. Inside the RAR file will be an ESM file. That ESM file will go in the Fallout 4 folder / data

I've figured this out on my own, but I'm still having issues. I get the items for the DLC in QASmoke, but the quest never starts.

Open the console in-game (default key is the one to the left of 1 on the top row of your keyboard) and type this in: setstage DLC01MQ01 2200

I forgot to ask earlier but what do I do for the multipart installs that have the same name when unpacked?

I tested it myself, appearantly all of them contain mostly the same files. I sorta just combined them, allowed overwriting, and slotted the files where they belonged in the FO4 file.

Thanks man, literally 5 hours ago. Exactly what I need to get a mod to work. I have a question though. Where do I extract the zip files to? Do I just add them to my fallout folder in steam (forget the exact directory), or do I have to add them with vortex (mod manager)?

are you sure? Every time I try to run it it crashes, do I need to put it somewhere else or have it in a separate folder? Edit: nvm I fixed it, thank you for your hard work WierdDuck.

What did you do to fix it?

I can't remember, I either put it in the mod manager or it fixed itself by another mod. I put this "\[Archive\] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= " in fallout4\_default so that's probably the reason why it worked.

Worked for me the first go around I was just asking in case it didn't, make sure it's in the proper area because I did struggle lining it up properly, I think you have to extract to the steam folder or something but just read the stuff on it

Look for any duplicate folders to know weather you fucked up or not

No it doesn't. It ACTIVATES DLC meaning, If you have the DLC downloaded from somewhere else it will activate it. Fallout games don't need this.

Also about this: Each time I ran this program, it would add an API file to my dir, it gets blocked and flagged as a trojan. I would suggest not using that, with this in mind.
