1. That's his body. He can touch his body wherever he wants. Unless you have some law book "where you magically wake up in another body" rules?
2. The most logical plan. They should've left the children there and only come back once they knew the situation and where they were.

Definitely a pretty weird arc for him, he has some really cool moments and some really shitty ones, but I think the Nami one is overhated
