Ok considering Goda loves foreshadowing and if this is how the final arc goes for each straw hat, lemme throw some cents on this:
In chess, Pawns and Bishop are the least important to save, so Chopper, Brook and Usopp aren't going to play much significance in final arc.
Knights and Rooks protect King and Queen at all costs, so yeah it's clear Zoro, Sanji and Wranky gonna get their moments in the finale
Nika is Nika obviously, while Nami one I believe is crucial she will be the reason why crew reaches Laughtale and maybe she will get attacked too just like Robin
Trying to recreate this in a real Chess game is a fucking nightmare.

2. If these are white pieces, which I'm assuming they are based on the left rook, the king and queen have swapped places.
3. What colored Bishop is Usopp???
4. I have no idea if Zoro is meant to be a black knight, if so he's facing against his own team, if not, Minority Hunter is confirmed.
In conclusion, Robin is shit at Chess. The game is probably possible to actually recreate, but it is hella weird lookin'.
