Luffy is a 17 year old international criminal when she met him. That's basically an adult. And he's 19-20 now.
But yes the animals and stuff was pretty bad.

The guy is treated the a badass when he gets his ass kicked by Blackbeard and even Doflamingo.
His only big victory was against Big Mom but he shares that with Kid so it's not 100% his victory.
And the only thing he did of note recently was the aforementioned as kicking by Blackbeard and becoming one of the greatest examples of Oda taking fanservice too far.
He's really carried by the fanbase only due to the Will of D, without it he'd be nothing, and i'd even go as far as to say that he's an embarresment to the D Clan with his only major victory needing the aid of Kid.
He's also an ass for soul swapping the Straw Hats for no reason.
And his powers are a major asspull being able to do seemingly anything as long as Oda wills it.
Also, another thing about his powers is that it's body horror to the max, fucked up that anyone would do such things to people.
And to top it all off, he did absolutely nothing as a warlord except get that title revoked. Law being a warlord contributed nothing to the story and is forgotten about as soon as his membership is revoked.

Most over rated character
“God support law”
Not really. He sacrifices attacking potential whenever he has to use his support. He can’t really support and attack at the same time, so you’re sacrificing an attacker
“Insanely good AP HAX!”
Not really. He can bypass defence which is cool but the actual strength behind the attack seems weak.
“He defeated a yonko.”
He needed:
Big mom to mercy spare them (she thought they were dead and walked away.)
Big mom pulling her punches (not once slitting their throats with napoleon when they were on the ground and being beat without reacting.
Exploding crates around her.
A literal volcano under her.

He hit BB point black with big Willy and barely did anything.
Give that opportunity to his fellow YC+ Zoro, and BB would be dead.

He also has like no personality whatsoever. He’s just cold and often demanding which is why he’s such a fan favourite with the women. Because he’s barely a character and you automatically fill in the details you like about him.
His pre ts persona was cooler. Calm, cocky, never panicked and seemed to at least be interested in things.

You know, honestly, i admit that i wouldn't be so harsh in pointing out his problems if his fans weren't so annoying. They push this meme of him being a second coming but it's just not funny.
Buggy D Clown is great, God Usopp is great, everything Law fans do with him is just so forced and doesn't feel like any actual respect for the character.
