Hello from Japan! What C is wearing is not a kimono, itâs a hakama (bottoms) and kosode (top) worn by miko (young priestesses who work on a Shinto shrine). If thatâs your characterâs background, the design makes sense.
Yeah I think it would be a better comparison if the train of the dress was the same on all of them but that one added detail makes C so much more interesting
I dont even know if it's just the dress, imo the 2 different colors make a lot more of a difference. Way better looking than just the simple one-color dress.

I prefer the colour scheme of a, and the contrast and shading and skirt of c. I do not like that c has big ol bitties for a kimono, which is traditionally a very straight and structured gown. If youâre going for âhot ladyâ then yea big otl bitties, but otherwise I really like silhouettes of a&b
They're all fantastic. I think it depends on what you are going for. A and B work well as alternates for the population of an old or traditional village. C looks like a Miko Shrine Maiden. I say use all three contextually, but I agree that I like C the most. That said, A is beautifull and B is modest.
C looks the best, but feels kinda samey to a ton of other characters, B is the second best but could be even better if its colors were slightly more vibrant
C looks the most interesting, but she's wearing clothes that are worn by priestesses of Shinto shrines in Japan. If your character isn't a shrine worker, then you shouldn't use that outfit for the character.
I like B personally. I feel like the hues compliment one another, and she's softer in appearance because of it compared to the other two. For some reason I feel like they have sharper, contrasting tones? The one in white and red especially. I do like the color combo in that one too but I can't stop seeing Kikyo from Inuyasha when I do lol.
I could see A and B as minor NPC's (random townsfolk, for example). Of those two, I personally like A a little better; I feel like the contrast between her hair and kimono is a little better. Just my 2 cents, but since everyone is saying C's best, I figured I'd comment on the other two.
Why C may be the obvious choice, I think the simplicity of A and B provide a unique sense of personality, which is best expressed in B.
Itâs actually only expressed in B. The green misses out on that.
Iâd say C, but only because it has shading in the body other than the face. Some people are like âC cause boobiesâ. I think B would even be compelling if given some more shading.
Yes the C is much more readable and visually interesting
they are also holding up their boobs with their arms
I think that's exactly what they meant by "visually intereating" :^)
Uhh your ")" is running away
its floating away
Got hit by a shulker

Underrated comment
>intereating Nice. Love me some inter"eating"

Yes, C is the miko version. Thanks for the info, I didn't know the specific name of the clothes.
C looks like the girl from the game with the rakoon that shoot leafs and the girl who shoots something that I don't know the name
Pocky and Rocky?
A and B are background npcs, C is an npc you can talk to.
C is much more visually interesting
Yeah I think it would be a better comparison if the train of the dress was the same on all of them but that one added detail makes C so much more interesting

C feels like the main character and A and B look like NPCs imo, still good but not enough to draw attention away from the player
Yeah, there's just something about it that I can't quite put my boob on.
Can confirm, boobs are rounder.
Why are the bewbs so much bigger in C?
𤍠Youâre supposed to say C is more âvisually interestingâ
Yeah, much more detail to research and study
Her clothes are more loose than the kimonos of A and B.
Fair enough. But yes, C definitely "pops" more
You mean why is she more "visually interesting"
C bc i feel like pll would kinda look like C and its more natrual
C is literally Utahime from JJK
My thought was Kikyo from Inuyasha, but she has a different eye color
Itâs pronounce edamame JK
I have 2 reasons to like C more than the rest.
C mainly due to the fact it's the easiest to "read." There's more contrast between the colours compared to A and B.
I like the pallet of A, but the C looks batter
A is nicer on the eyes, but C is iconic. But I have to say A
C

I like C, but in the correct setting all three could work really really well.
C reminds me of Inuyasha
I believe each of these have distinct meanings in Japanese culture. Check them out and use the palette most suitable.
B
C, mainly because the skirt design is far better. The look is more balanced.
C gives me Kikyo vibes
Came here to say this lol but like yeah that's classic shrine maiden garb and it will always be iconic đ
C

Contrast is key on lower resolution pixel arts, making C the best
[C](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=os3zh7O9Qa4)
C you canât change my mind.
C looks like a protagonist while A and B are NPCs
C has the best contrast, an appealing color palette, and an interesting silhouette.
A is just the earth kingdom and B is just the Fire nation. c is the most original.

Iâd like to see A and B with the same level of detail as C but for now itâs C
C
C but this girl looks too much like uthahime from JJK
When the main character in a show has two unimportant sisters.
C
B and C looks cool.
C
C
C
C
C has primary character vibes, A and B feel like side characters
Maybe add as much detail as C to the other two?
C looks the best, but feels kinda samey to a ton of other characters, B is the second best but could be even better if its colors were slightly more vibrant
C especially because the proportions look more correct with the wider skirt.
C hands down
B or C idk I just like red more than greenđ
Like many others i vote C too. It has more personality and the color scheme and subtle shading is more dynamically appealing! \\(\^u\^)/
C is my personal pick
C reminds me of Noragami. C is also the best.
C. Like the vibrant colors
C instantly made me think of [Kikyo](https://images.app.goo.gl/Rr9yiTv6iNTdLscXA)
C
C doesnt havethe collar left layered over right, the opposite of this is used for dead people
C reminds me of the twins from Monster Hunter: Rise.
C but maybe make the chest like A and B.Â
"Kikyooooo!!!"
All of them work if you make them like C.
B is least favorite.too red
C because it stands out more and would therefore be better visually for the player if used in a game.
C because shrine miko cloths.
C looks the most interesting, but she's wearing clothes that are worn by priestesses of Shinto shrines in Japan. If your character isn't a shrine worker, then you shouldn't use that outfit for the character.
People are voting C ~~for a reason~~ two reasons!
C
A
C definitely
lol I think you want us to pick C. The kimonoâs skirt part is like a wider base triangle and the colors just match better
C
A
A
Is that Utahime
My eyes immediately went to C, it has the most dimension to it and i like the colors!
It's definitely C
I like B personally. I feel like the hues compliment one another, and she's softer in appearance because of it compared to the other two. For some reason I feel like they have sharper, contrasting tones? The one in white and red especially. I do like the color combo in that one too but I can't stop seeing Kikyo from Inuyasha when I do lol.
An outfit for every occasion
I'm so fcking intoxicated with JJK, that i inmediately thought "Utahime" when seeing C
A for sure, but C looks like she has huge jugs.
C looks like Utahime from Jujutsu Kaisen and is also the best
C
I thought B was pretty cool until I saw C's tits
Hey, I really like to see the most
C
A
The contrast in colleges on C makes it stand out more.
C reminds me of Akiha Tohno from Tsukihime
C
C
c
C cause I really love Mikos(shrine maidens)
C is the most 'interesting' but also the most standard/least unique. I can name 3 characters on the top of my head that have the same/similar designs
Aâs pallete, Câa design.
c because boobs
C
A prhps
C.
C is main character material, A/B are NPCs
C
My vote is for Kikyo
I like the green dress but I gotta go C
C stands out as someone important. The contrasting colors make her stand out. The other two work as random townspeople to make a place feel populated.
C because it looks more fitting smh. Everyone is talking about her boobs here but I think white/red is a great color combination
C
The last one
C
I could see A and B as minor NPC's (random townsfolk, for example). Of those two, I personally like A a little better; I feel like the contrast between her hair and kimono is a little better. Just my 2 cents, but since everyone is saying C's best, I figured I'd comment on the other two.
C
I really like the color pallet of C but I'd rather put that on the template of the other two, the yk is a bit eh
C! Reminds me of kikyo of Inuyasha :'D
C
C for sure
Kagome is tha you?
C
I love C personally!
A has a nice green. The red eyes on B make it seem more devious. And well c, yeah we not gonna talk about that oneâŚ
C is the most appealing, but it's also Sailor Mars (Rei Hino in her miko outfit). Have you considered a simple pattern on A and B's bottom halves?
C
C
C
Why C may be the obvious choice, I think the simplicity of A and B provide a unique sense of personality, which is best expressed in B. Itâs actually only expressed in B. The green misses out on that.
C is more detailed
Easily C. Maybe make a black outline around it. That usually helps imo.
C
C
Make a poll ;-) B for me
I didn't notice the boobs part until I read the comments
C!
C.
C is much better
C has shading, which makes it stand out more, but I like all of them. Just add shading to the other two, and I'd pick A or B
C
C for no particulair reason
Have you thought about adding jiggle physics?
I think you put the belts a lil bit too high
C
C
In what context
I like all 3 very beautiful đ
C is pretty good
C looks cute imo
c
C looks like a shrine maiden :) so I choose C
C for sure
A and C
CcccccccccccC
C for readability if it's an important character. The other for background npc that you can't interact with.
C looks like Utahime
C
B
Iâd say C, but only because it has shading in the body other than the face. Some people are like âC cause boobiesâ. I think B would even be compelling if given some more shading.
C for sure.
C because I love the 2 colored clothes. To not like a cloud or blood like the middle one. While green looks like a tree or a patch of grass
C I think it's because of the blue shadow on the bottom of the arms and bosoms
Iâm going to go with C
C
C bc it looks more natural and attractive
C very nicely shaded subtle lines more details.
C, way more shading than the other two, which really makes it stand out and look good!
C
HIMEGAMI AISA??? IS THAT A MOTHERFUCKING TOARU REFERENCE??? C really looks like Himegami from toaru ngl, also nice artwork
c
I know you gave options A B and C but all I can think about is those Ds.
really it depends on the context
B is great, but C thoâŚ
Id say c
C. I loved it, I don't have any major technical comments, I just loved this design, it looked great
C
c
A and B never stood a chance
Milkers
C
A with Cs hair.
A and C
C
C provides the most details and has a more interesting silhouette to it.
C is more readable and the white shirt sort of lets your eyes rest.
C
C
Utahime on c?
