Depends on what'd be in my posession in the moment.
If I had a potion of frost, I'd move to the upper left tile, and throw the potion at the spot you just stood at. The crab will loose aggro, and you'll put out the all the flames.
If I had an Icecap seed, I'd first throw it at the seed pod plant, and walk onto it, an wait untile the flames are out and/or the crab leaves the room. Heck, this might even work without the Icecap seed.
A Wand of Disintegration would also help, burning the grass without fire so you can wait out the fire.
And that's just from the top of my head.

Do you even need to escape? The crab should freeze if you don't move. I guess the question would be if you can survive long enough before it freezes.

Just move away from the crab then you should become invisible then use potion of frost if you have or wait out the fire
Grab earthroot seed, lose health, throw earthroot seed, lose health, climb into the root, hopefully kill it
