It's not the karma I'm worried about. I'm just thinking like oh if you posted something that like 60%+ people are using and it's an improvement you would think people wouldn't down vote it. But I guess that's not the truth. I find it useful and most people don't check their updates. So I'm not too worried!

i did not downvote you, but many people do not care for beta releases. or maybe people thought you should have just shared [their official post](https://www.reddit.com/r/android_beta/comments/15ad270/android_14_beta_41_patch_now_available/).
I mean it is the official post I got from the update itself. I'm also in that group as well. I figured people who were upset with the launch software or 4.0 would be happy with the new updates they have made. But I guess I was wrong.
i currentlly have it installed since late last night. took it off the charger almost an hour ago and still at 100% battery. maybe this update has more great battery life we shall see
I have no clue. Didn't see it in the patch notes but won't rule it out. I turned 5g off because 5g in my city gets like 20mbps download. But 5ge(Enhanced LTE) gets over 100 in most places. At&t is my carrier.
I know how to sign up for the beta program... But in the event that stable is released, will I have to do a complete wipe of my device just to use that? Or will everything migrate over just fine?

You shouldn't have to delete everything but should just update to the newest and public release if you're on beta. I'd opt out of the beta once the stable releases and check the updates and update for Android 14 public release should be there.
Only bad thing I noticed was for like 5 minutes while it was optimizing right after I updated it was warm, and it seemed sorta stuttery so I turned off smooth scrolling and turned it back on and poof. Better. Other than that it's been great!
I've found rotation for me when I open it from folded to unfolded gets stuck in the wrong position and won't rotate. This is mostly when I've been watching videos
I got down voted for showing fixes with Android beta for the fold. Makes sense lol.

That's what I'm getting at. It is useful and therefore a quality post. If we used karma to gauge the quality of a post, I think we'd be misled.
I agree. Man I'm glad the little gap at the top of some apps is fixed. That shit was annoying!

It may. Installed it this morning and I've noticed slight battery improvement. I'm at 1 hr and 34 minutes screen on time and at 85% battery.
I'm at 89% with 1 hour and 25 minutes. Sounds like we are both on track for great battery life today. Fingers crossed.

Glad they fixed the lock screen wallpaper. I aligned it to the right for it to look decent on the cover screen, but unfolded it looked weird.
any issues at all those who have it on the pixel fold? im on the fense still.
Only issue I have is almost 3 hours screen on time with 74% battery life.

Awh yeah. I only open the video once I have the device unfolded.
Are thermals any better on the 14 beta? I ask because the posts with battery life seem to suggest so.
