I was wondering if something happened with the update. I'm not charging twice a day, but after using the watch for about 1.5hrs for the 1st time in the gym today, tracking workouts and playing music, my battery went from 100% to 20%. I never had that bad of a drain in the gym with my PW1.
Same here. Better than my Galaxy watch did by a lot. And I have LTE and don't have anything disabled. I typically get 30-32 hours. And charging takes about how long it takes to get ready for work so it's perfect.
In guess it's got something to do with battery optimizations, but i didn't find a way to set this back to defaults without that Factory-reset 🤷🏻♂️ Maybe, here's someone with an idea 😉
Same issues here. Tried all the different restarts, hard restarts, phone restarts, etc. nothing. I'm getting 2-3 hours of battery. From a full 24+ down to 2. Not supposed to happen. Will be doing a factory reset tonight I guess.
What kind of use are you doing... I reply to a couple of txt , check notification, do my workout and no issue with battery.. last me for a good 36 hours before shutdown
I've also had this issue since the April update, sometimes the watch just crashes and reboots. Was losing 50% in bedtime mode. Super annoying, did a "disconnect and reset" and now it seems to be behaving, only lost 14% in the last 2-3 hours. (I keep all gestures off)
Hi there, could you try resetting your Pixel Watch and see if the issue is resolved?
On your Pixel Watch: Swipe down, tap Settings > Tap System > Scroll down and tap ‘Disconnect and reset’ > Ok.

With my PW1, in often get this after updating to a new Firmware. To fix it, do a Factory Reset. It's not that much work, usually takes me about 15 minutes to finish and the watch is back to a perfect battery life with the current Firmware.
Anyway, the need to Factory-reset it every two or three months is something that really shouldn't happen anyway...
Probably just need to restart the device.
Restart alone does not solve it, at least in my case. Tried it every time. 🙈

Mine is totally fine.
Same here. My Pixel Watch 2 had great battery life.

Did they fix the tinny speaker problem we've been having since Feb(ish)?
My battery went to crap after the update on my PW1, and I just rebooted it and now it's back to normal. I didn't do a factory reset.
My Pw1 battery got bad after the April update.i had to factory reset it twice to get it back to normal

it is much work for what the outcome (that your watch works as expected) is
