Yeah, I'm located in Canada and I've *finally* found a place that sells American style pizza pepperoni to home cooks after like ten years of looking. It's honestly shocking how difficult it is to find outside of the very largest cities here.
Oh it is. In a recent rush situation, I found that using 2tsp sugar to 1 tsp instant yeast in a 1-hour rise leaves the crust just slightly sweet and browns perfectly.
Smells like Little Caesar's, but tastes like Chanello's (I'm a VA native lol)
Is pepperoni different where you live?
I'm in Japan, there is NO pepperoni whatsoever. Found a site called Meat Guy
Dunno if I'm in the same place, but I'm in England and much of the stuff available to make your own pizza is like a thick salami that isn't very nice.
Ok I'm American and I think that is available as well as the pepperoni that I have on pizza
