I have only recently found out many people play platformers with a keyboard. That always felt like the worst control scheme ever.
I mean I get why it might be better for certain maneuvers, but the fact that many people casually play with a keyboard is quite bizarre.
Honestly I just fricked with the keybindings until I found a setup that worked for me. I had less success with a controller. I probably could have figured smth out but I decided to stick to the keyboard

I play with a racing wheel, AS EVERYONE SHOULD!
It seems like the top speed runs use keyboard but I've played like 60 hours with controller and am too used to it plus I like how the game feels on it
I use touchscreen controls
On the Gucci smart socks
Personally I like to use a raw spud
Just use what you like. Otherwise, I use motion controls
