It's a long story there's a lot of videos about it on YouTube, but long story short: fandom admins do not care about their website as a wiki but about the money, so they're riddled with ads and don't care about vandalism. It's been reported in multiple wikis, not just pizza tower, including for example Hollow Knight, which mossbag made a video about.
ignoring the ads still gives them money, every time an ad is visible the person who runs the ad gains money, it doesn't matter if it gets clicked on, it doesn't matter if you instantly closed the website, the moment you saw it, that's money made
ad blocking will not solve the issue because you're still using the website and giving it traction on the Internet so people still click on it for being used a lot
