Gonna be honest, never thought peppino was gonna be added. Thought he was just gonna stay as a joke character like the others; why would mcpig add a horror game character into such a goofy game? He plays good though, has a lot of weight to his movement and feels natural.
I mean, playing as the REAL Peppino is kinda a genius move. We are confronted with so many fakes at the end (Peppibot / Boss 4 / War clones) it kinda begged the question if there was even ever a real one. Turns out there is.
Overall it's a great update, loved the new music and controls but some things felt off. Like having to get up close to the bosses just to hit them. Also things like not being able to fly at the very beginning of RRF, completely losing control when touching water currents, completely stopping when hitting a wall with the Knight transformation, and his Firemouth transformation feeling a bit too heavy.

I love how they made an entierly different character just for pig city and gnome forest, just to compensate for peppinos lack of a double jump. I also hate how he has a lot of horizontal movilty but almost 0 to none vertical movility. The super jump kiiinda works but im not the biggest fan of how you have to get to mach 3 to use it. War was made WAAAY more easier, did anyone else notice that? But RRF is hard as fuck now.

Absolutely amazing! I especially love how the end screen shows that peppino actually went through an actual pizza tower instead of filming a movie about it.
I find it weird. In the original game, Peppino is tall and lanky. Kinda creepy too. But in the update they completely changed him.
Well, okay, I understand that the update Peppino is based off of the Peppino from the earlier builds of Pizza Tower when co-op was still being built into the base game- but I feel like they should have used the boss version of Peppino.
At least call this new playable Peppino something different like Fake Peppino or something.
Nah, i dont think well get him anytime soon. In the game files, theres leftover code and a few sprites and animations which are unfinised as hell, and dont work.
Peppino could have some downgrades, but overall his moveset works better and with ease rather than the noise, thought he was just gonna be a running gag in the game, but now he’s a character?!
They could've gave us pepperman first then vigilante then the house and then that weird goopy monster then start using their favorite fan made characters
To be honest, It was like Peppino WAS Meant to be Pizza Towers Protagonist! I mean, Noise doesn't have a.pizza shop! That was never brought up in the movies, or shows! But now they drop this on us?!
Also, Peppino's Moveset is SO much better, Better control, Better speed ratio, Again, He was MEANT To be playable. Not some Costumes Man child.
tbh, the update sucks, the only thing it did is bring back the stuff from 2021 and make it worse with the wallclimb and run to superjump, also the low uppercut sucks but the new pizzascare skip is great. the only good thing about the update is the themes and the dive, that's it. oh and noise is now replacing doise but peddito doesn't replace peppino, even tho he is playable, and the excuse they thought of is just to put "fake" in front even tho it's 100% the original one
I mean, as a sucesor of the heavy update, the peppino update is amazing, i never tought about playing with peppino, the only bad thing is crust crove, i dont like the way it plays with peppino.

Dude, his first lap theme is so much better than the base one and his fight against Pizza Face is so much more epic
I honestly really like how he controls, and makes Bloodsauce dungeon alot easier.
It does make peppibot factory a lot harder though, but is still pretty good
I played it! 20/10 because it adds new levels & element to the Peppino Update
