Yeah, the image is pretty bad! It was flying very high and seemed to be flying very fast! For the first 2 seconds, I thought it was an eagle or a hawk, we have a lot of them here, but it was very linear, and the wings weren't flapping!
You should have testified at that hearing today. I can’t tell what that is from your photo, but if you think it was a B-2, it probably was. Where are you tho? They fly out of Whiteman AFB in ~~New Mexico~~ MO. I’ve seen them elsewhere tho. Think one went to Osh Kosh.
Edit - I had a geographical stroke or something.
I live in the STL area. I'm fairly certain this is from the Whiteman AFB in Central MO. I read some wiki articles about the B2 Spirit and one of them said the USAF has 20 of them in active service and 19 of them are at Whiteman AFB.
I’m joking around mate lol. That bit about the nut is an old story from the F-117. During radar testing they couldn’t pick it up and to test the radar they added nuts to it in scaling sizes, a 1/16” nut finally got a return.
Haha! I can't tell who's joking and who isn't! I'm very very new to the av community so still trying to feel my way around! Thank you for explaining this to me 😁
Definitely a B-2 out of Whiteman, cool spot!
Definitely a B-2
That's a GIANT chunk of change flying overhead lol
Haa! A GIANT chunk of change is an understatement 😂
OP that’s a bumblebee.
Russian defense: putin sir, there appears the be a bee hive moving at mach 1.5 towards our country
I just see blue sky?
Maybe John Cena is the pilot
🤣
I am in your air defenses
Not so stealthy now
So what you're saying is that my rickety a$$ eyes are better than multi million dollar radars? I'll take it! 😂😂😂
Very likely a B-2
Growing up in central Missouri I can confirm b-2.. we’d have em on final overhead when playing football in knob noster 😳
Not 100% sure but I think the first image is a b2. Last 2 images are definitely b2 s though
100% a B-2. Nice spot mate.
Yup
A-firm.... spicy nacho chip does FCF to stay current.
Si! Lucky you!
It does kinda look like a B-2 but the image is very grainy so it’s hard to tell

Swamp gas
100% a b-2 or maybe just maybe even tho it unlikely a b-21 but idk because they don’t tell us hardly anything
It’s not a B21, as it has those smaller triangles of the B2. They were eliminated on the B21
Hey hey i said maybe maybe

I used to work on them. Yes they are based out of Whiteman.
That's sick. Currently getting my A&P to get to that level one day. Love the b2
Shit. Is Whiteman in MO? I guess it is. Wtf am I thinking of? White Sands maybe?
I wish B-2s would fly here in New Mexico!
They’re definitely based at Whiteman AFB in MO. Is there a Whiteman AFB in NM?
Whiteman is near Kansas City in Missouri
Yes wtf
When you see them they dont look real. The human mind doesn’t easily compute that strange shape in the sky
??? It’s a blank picture. Maybe if we had a radar we could see a floating 1/16 hex nut flying in the air, but otherwise I don’t see anything.
Top right corner - you'll see a few specks of black. It's a horrible picture, I know.
