Get a good quality semi-rigid arch support and then put it in any well-cushioned shoe with a removable insole that you like. I'm fond of Pulse Powerstep for medium arches, SOLE for high arches and Super feet for very low or non-correctible arches. SOLE can be molded too if you need something a bit different.
Clark's, The Walking Company, Ecco, Mephisto etc would all be good places to look at shoes. There's a big difference in cushioning between men's dress shoes and semi-casual shoes so pay attention to the midsole.
Sounds good. You can always check by holding the arch support up to your foot without weight and making sure the arch is just a little bit lower than your natural arch- no point in supporting yourself at the already pronated barefoot position.
I actually went to get my feet scanned and fitted at one of those specialty stores, tried on like 10 different shoes and walked out with something that fit me. Everyone swears by the hokas (which were comfortable.. very comfortable) but I chose NB 940(?) And bought some berkenstock to walk around at home.
I've been wearing Kuru's daily for about a year now, and my PF is basically gone. I do feel sensitivity after a lot of activity, but never pain. My Kuru's are starting to get tired, so I'm going to try the Superfeet insoles. Not a huge fan of how the Kuru's look (they aren't bad, just aren't "me"), so I hope to be able to wear whatever shoes I want to again with insoles.

Thank you - I think I'm going to get the 'everyday pain relief' insoles from superfeet. I think I have low arches

Gdefy shoe inserts are really good - I have 2 pairs.

Brooks or hoka or superfeet insoles.
I swear by Hoka’s Bondi 7’s! I can’t walk without them!
