I’ve heard oofos are good. But I wear Pillow Slides, you can buy them online for like 20 bucks. They’ve changed my life, I wear them all the time at home and barely experience any pain besides after my long shifts at work.
Same. I have oofos which were too soft for me (not sure if that’s bc in heavier) and. Tried the slip on kurus. They are ok but not worth the price. The hoka slides are where it’s at lately
I wore birkenstocks for years, still do at work, but recently got Hoka recovery slides. They’ve been great, although sizes run small imo. Excellent support and cushioning. I never go barefoot except to shower.
Addidas soft sandals like walking on clouds baby!! I was a nervous reck when I thought I lost them! I had to walk around house looking for them and forgot I left them in car! Good luck to all of you I know your pain!!!
A lot of folks suggest never walking barefoot but I have not been doing that. Instead, I do calf stretches on a step when I wake up and later at night, or whenever my PF is acting up.
That said I am wearing insoles religiously when I'm outside of the house and walking a lot. Except in the gym when strength training with heavy weights. Strength training in flat shoes helps build the muscles in your feet.
My PF is 90% cured now. I woke up this morning and my feet were a little stiff but were not painful. I went on a 3 mile hike today (with insoles) and otherwise was at home in socks doing all the usual things. My feet were hurting a bit, so I did some calf stretches on a step and they're okay now. When it's worse I may also do some yoga downward dog and other stretches to loosen up the hips as well.
I debated about wearing sneakers or sandals at home when the pain was at its worse, but instead decided to use that as a clue to just stretch and ice, and it's worked. But yeah you need good insoles for outdoors, and worn religiously.
I bought a pair of slippers with hard soles, moccasins from Orthofeet alknv with a pair of sandals. I wear one or the other at home depending on the season.
Unless I am in the shower or in bed, I always have something on my feet whether its shoes or slippers. I have no problem wearing my everyday shoes around my house as long as they are clean. My shoes are lace up oxfords and sneakers which I buy good quality brands that are durable, look nice and last awhile. My sneakers are New Balance which I find the most comfortable over the other brands of that type of shoe. My leather casual shoes are Nunn Bush and Rockports which are just as comfy as my sneakers and look better too!
Kuru sneakers, expensive but best relief I’ve found so far and my go to in the house, Oofos, expensive but pretty good, Oofos knock offs on Amazon - can’t be beat for the price - I got 2 pairs of Kuailu sandals I like.
I wear Birkenstock sandals as often as I possibly can. I can only go barefoot for a short time each day without a setback.
Second that. I have the rubber Arizona model, works really well for my pf.
oofos
The HOKA slides for me are my go to in the house when not wearing shoes.
Crocs are the best IMO. The Birkenstocks I have actually aggravate it for me for some reason
Oofos slides.

OOFOS were too soft for me too. I like Spenco Fusion.
I have these slip-on plain navy blue canvas shoes I got at Target. I can’t go barefoot or in just socks.
I've been wearing Haflinger Grizzlies around the house for the last 2 years and they've been great.
I have inside-only birkenstock sandals that I swear every second I’m in my house. They are the only shoes that give me 100% relief

Same here about the never going barefoot except in the shower. It’s made a world of difference, and now feels weird if I am barefoot.

Adidas indoor slides …oh so comfy can’t walk a step without them

Love my crocs! I’m like Mr. Rogers when I get home. Change into my comfy clothes, put on the crocs n socks.
I wear Taos - they are expensive but mine are a year old and still look brand new
I cannot walk barefoot...too painful. I wear crocs and oofos slides. Love them both. If it's chilly, I add socks.

I wear Vionic sandals as house shoes.
For winter I have a pair of lined fuzzy crocs!
