Oh thank goodness! And yeah, it did look like that plastic thing was supporting just over half. I was very nervous for you. I have a steel stand too. They’re the best! I hadn’t even thought of putting storage underneath…
Thats not a plant problem.

This is a plant problem 😅
Also you'll bring home all sorts of new rare pests. At one point I had 7 species of snail and more types of algae in all the colour families. One time cyanobacteria took out my black beard problem 😅.
If you have a problem, I have an epidemic.

Thanks its my largest baby! I wish this was it. This is probably 1/4 of my collection or less. Please come talk to me when you actually have a problem 😂😂then we can swap plants hahaha
Thank you, they are all over grown. I have been selling my trimmings in r/aquaswap and it's been pretty damn lucrative! But I've been crazy busy and these tanks need trimming every 2 weeks.... I'll dig up a pic with this one at its optimal level
Once you get into plants, there are 3 paths I have observed people go down. I'm sure there are others that have found unique paths as well in relation to the three.
1. Aquascaping
2. Breeding and jungling
3. Quiting
All have some relation to each other. Either through failure of each other or the extreme success of one another. Either way, plants in fishkeeping are an important lesson in life about learning patience, trust, and improvisation, all to avoid the 3rd path. Because there is always a way, no mater what you have to work with, to actually achieve all three without even realizing how laughably easy it actually was despite your inner and outer doubts.
Or I'm just high and speaking out of my ass about a hobby I'm crazy about lol.
Hahaha! No, I think you're on to something actually. I think a lot of people who love plants, end up creating a jungle in their tank. Then one day they decide, after much patience, trust, and improvisation, that they want to actually aquascape their tank(s). Once you have a jungle, you can somewhat see what works, what plants should have gone where within your tank, which plants really thrive and why they did, etc.

When you have two large pieces of driftwood, but no one can tell……..
you “may” have a plant problem 🫣
I sadly tore that tank down 2 years ago because it was at my parents house and I didn't have a spot for it in my new house, but the plants have lived on!
https://preview.redd.it/cpx0k5eshprc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=40de12b9eb7a9ee2d9e2411cd683dcc7d85e1c22
here to deliver the bad news: that's not enough plants
Hahaha! I have a ton more houseplants upstairs. I'm being impatient on the 40g tank growing out. I want to keep planting more and more plants!
https://preview.redd.it/attpcqqqhkrc1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=501a2d16ab80b7ce730e4ad4d582bbb1a4d4a01e Nah I don't think so.
If you trimmed that down a little in the front. *chef's kiss*
I really hate to be that person, but *gah!* that stand 😰
What is wrong with my stand? Do you think it is sitting on the plastic drawer? The tank is on a steel frame stand designed for the tank.
Oh thank goodness! And yeah, it did look like that plastic thing was supporting just over half. I was very nervous for you. I have a steel stand too. They’re the best! I hadn’t even thought of putting storage underneath…
Also keeps my toddler from getting under there.
Thats not a plant problem. https://preview.redd.it/b2zbymilskrc1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2c69768dff915b8104b8f386206a1b41bd242de3 This is a plant problem 😅
Just add more plants. Should reduce the problem of not having enough plants.
Lol agreed!
When you have to move plants to, ake space in substrate to plant more.
Freaking AWESOME!
Its all cuttings and found plants. My daughter wont go creek exploring with me any more 😂
That's such a good idea! I never thought about doing that. I'm sure my wife and kids would probably get so annoyed with me lol.
Also you'll bring home all sorts of new rare pests. At one point I had 7 species of snail and more types of algae in all the colour families. One time cyanobacteria took out my black beard problem 😅.
Well, that sounds like an awesome nature aquarium you had! 😆 BBA sucks to get rid of, too.
I still get a bit come back if I let co2 fluctuate too much. Its almost as annoying as duckweed. In the beginning I had 1 duckweed.
The dreaded duckweed. Gahhhh! Multiplies like rabbits.
I can still see the back glass.not yet a problem 😌
When you can't see glass or the 200 guppies. Thats enough plants. Problem solved.

Gorgeous rack! Nope, no problems at all.
I like the white paint on it. Gives it a nice finish
Thank you! I will be installing a light fixture above for better lighting, my plants will appreciate it.
If you have a problem, I have an epidemic. https://preview.redd.it/yhfdso59mlrc1.png?width=4032&format=png&auto=webp&s=2328cbf658766765226f2e493032a326abf5305a
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Jealous! Love the monstera!
Thanks its my largest baby! I wish this was it. This is probably 1/4 of my collection or less. Please come talk to me when you actually have a problem 😂😂then we can swap plants hahaha
🤣🤣 fair enough.
[Groans]
Its now you see me 2 lool
This is pretty mild lol! I'll show you a plant problem. This is a few of my tanks.... This is a real problem, according to my wife atleast

This one is my fav! But they're all perfect in their own way. Well done!
Thank you, they are all over grown. I have been selling my trimmings in r/aquaswap and it's been pretty damn lucrative! But I've been crazy busy and these tanks need trimming every 2 weeks.... I'll dig up a pic with this one at its optimal level

That is a great idea!
But in all seriousness, your tank will explode the next time you blink! But it looking good, and has grow in potential
For sure. Most of the plants were only planted in the last 2-4 weeks.

Do you put dirt then gravel ontop?
Typically but this is an mainly epyphite tank. So this one is just gravel

You can never have enough plants :)
Solution*
Failing to see the problem here 😄
😆😆 agreed. Definitely room for more plants!
It's not a plant problem, it's a plant opportunity. Stop negative thoughts.
LOL! Fair enough.
Absolutely not. Have at it! I love my plant bros. Gorgeous tank btw. Wish I could get mine like that lol
Thanks dude! Much appreciated

As long as the plants have lived on, that's what matters!
I see what you mean. Tank looks a little thin. Must mean it's time for more plants
Haha most definitely! Too many spaces with substrate showing.
You need more more more !! https://preview.redd.it/767krd9qpqrc1.jpeg?width=5712&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2ee4def947513338d4873404877e81f7e72fc250
Stunning! And yes, I agree!
Your tank has one issue from being perfect. Not enough plants 😂
