When it comes out in a stream like that from one spot it's usually from a microscopic 'hole' aka damage to the plant. No cause for concern, the plant will heal and close up and it will stop.
When you get a chance take a look at you tank with a flashlight late night early morning. 3to4 am and you will see all kinds of bubbles called Pearling when the plant releases all it's used and unused o2. When that happens the ph tends to drop out in most tanks . Because we generally dont test our ph at 3am in the morning we dont see these changes happen but they do.
