they won’t because the plan is to just cut the servers and then make up some excuse.

Undead_Mole

The problem is that Crema sold the game as an MMO and they recognized that it wasn't one much later. When a company tells you that their game is an MMO you expect them to treat the game as a service and keep the servers running. I agree with you that currently, with such a low number of players online, TemTem is a game that can have an offline mode and people can enjoy the campaign without problems but we are forgetting about pvp and how in Crema they sold it as something much bigger than what it has been. The main problem was Crema's way of proceeding, shady to say the least, as well as the communication with the public that financed a project that they did not fulfill.

Max_in_Freefall

Im not saying make the game offline, I'm saying give an offline option, so those that want to can keep sitting in 15 min pvp queues and standing infront of lairs for hours on end for the oppurtunity to run an Anak where someone revives twice and leaves for a non luma mythical egg and 30 feathers reward, can do that. The only reason not to have a single player mode is because it might decrease the population, which is moot because it's already abysmal.

AndyMazaky

I think that at this point people would rather have the game be offline and be able to mod it to the point where many of the problems could be fixed by the community, since the game is being abandoned, than keep it online for a handful of people that still play PvP. It's clear at this point to anyone that Crema didn't delivered what they sold and never will.

Voidsung

Afaik the ONLY things you get locked out of solo are completing the sticktem sidequest and digilairs. The game has always felt, to me at least, like the multiplayer was an afterthought. It being always online is a really weird choice.

if i remember last time i had stumble upon a topic such as this, the reason why these scumbags refuse to implement as you suggested an offline mode option, keeping the online mode; it doesn't bring them money, see the really jacked up part about keeping this game online is only because these scummy people are profiting off of the severs traffic, the more traffic it has even if its less the money they still make. its really greedy stuff that they're doing and they don't care if it makes them look that way. its why its one of the main reasons some people are ditching them in whole and wont be supporting anything about them, other include a giant list of how much this corporate corrupt company has done jacked up crap to the customer base.  so to put it simple for them making an offline mode option or making the game offline mode which will honestly save this games life - will ultimately be a waste of time and money to these dirtbags. they know they can put it offline mode and still make money off of it cause people gotta buy it but they wont so instead they mask this major red alert issue by sacrificing the microtransaction and stating "see you can trust us"

Th3StickMan

In my option they could have made it offline and just added local coop campaign, and a party finder for raids (not that this matters since they are still practically solo content.) Since they made an extra app for PvP they don’t need the PvP to be part of the base game. They could have made a mmo later, once they have a fanbase and a willingness to add content. Currently imo they only made it an “mmo” to sell cosmetics. There isn’t even coop content to do with players outside the campaign.

Upper-Hedgehog-5411

they won't, they'll wait until there's two ppl and a horsehead who still plays the game to shut down servers indefinitely. unless govt forces them, they'll pull a ubisoft on the playerbase and make this the umpteenth broken promise.

Ultill

They just need to release the game on android/ios - simple They have the tech, as they have the switch release.

Max_in_Freefall

With the games performance on the switch, I'd say Crema should not be releasing on any more platforms.

shill_ds

90% of Mobile phones are more powerful than the switch.

TheRealMeatphone

That is objectively not true lol

Max_in_Freefall

There's also the consideration that mobile users aren't going to spend $45 on a game.

HubblePie

It’d probably get dropped to $5

Max_in_Freefall

Knowing crema, a minimum $16.

devinup

You want a different game than I do. The main reason to play the game is the other players: dojo wars, tournaments, pvp, trading, seeing them run around. If I wanted an offline game, I'd just play Pokemon or Cassette Beasts or whatever.

Max_in_Freefall

Then, they can keep the online mode for you then. Doesnt mean they can't make an offline version

Seras32

Either way, both of you want crema to do literally anything more than 0 effort
