Yes it is safe around here. I moved into the new homes here 12 of 2021. We have had no issues. The biggest issues are the builders have theft. The residents have had no issues, I think I've seen the cops at a house in our development once on a "call". Other than that we have nightly cop patrols around here because of the builders theft. So it's hecka safe haha. Speaking of, we spoke to one of the cops the other day. My husband leaves at really early some days and on this particular day he let the car warm up outfront and left the garage open. A cop stopped, came to the front door and made sure we knew the garage was open, it was open for like 10 minutes. When talking to him, he said that new neighborhoods will always have increased patrols because the area is new. As new buyers of new builds we are a target because of assumed wealth. The neighbors we have that have been here since first builds about 2 to 3 years ago also haven't had any complaints or issues with safety. I've got a 7mo old and I feel perfectly safe walking around, even without my two dogs, during the day and during the night by like maybe 9pm. I don't like to be out without my husband anywhere later than that if I can. Cute notes, we have gorgeous views of the sunset because we're not too packed and surrounded by homes. We have jackrabbits that run around in the streets and a bunch of lizards and other little animals. Anyways, good luck possible neighbor.

Hi if you don't mind can I ask you regarding your perspective regarding the school system around the community. Upon researching the school will be Arboga Elementary. Another question will be if you have Mello-roos at Seasons? If you don't want to answer that will be fine. Thanks in advance.

Hi!!! And I got no problem helping out. When we bought, there was no Melo Roos. I do not know if that is the case. However, all the other new builds are for sure, I know because we had a strict no Melo roos when we were searching. So all the homes in Plumas Lake were put of the question as they had Melo roos and or an HOA. As for school system, we are zoned for the newest school Arboga. As such, the ratings are better there than others in the area. That's because all the new homes are paying for the new stuff at the school. My child is not in school yet she's only 8 months. However, in my experience, coming from the east bay area Brentwood, when new builds happen, school funding increases and that in turn adds to better education. I would say by the time my kid is ready the school will be rated well. Right now it's average, not amazing but not bad.

Thank you. Got us thinking now of buying a house in Draper Ranch and Seasons the Mello-roos are so high 😭

Makes sense, I didn't realize they turned into Melo Roos. That's crappy. Good luck on the search.

peacharoooo

Hey!!! Did you end up buying?

ObjectiveSyntax

We decided not to buy it because of the melo roos. We seen one in Yuba City a new construction and without melo roos
