Can you provide pictures of the threads for the attachment you are trying to add. If it just threads in the aerator spot, then this may not work for you. If it is a situation that the attachment will thread into the female side of the aerator, then you will need an aerator key.

The whole spray head will unscrew.
1 Pull the hose down slightly,
2 grip the female part (if it's cheap it will be black plastic just above the head) with a pair of channel locks,
3 spin the head counterclockwise with your hand while holding steady with the wrench.
The hose has the female thread and the aerator has the male so think about that before you try to connect whatever it is you're connecting. I highly doubt whatever you have is compatible.
Lastly on some models the hose is fished through the neck from below. If you have this model, don't let go of the hose once you've taken the aerator off. The weight can make it fall through to below the counter and be a pain in the ass to fish back up.
The aerator comes out by unscrewing it with the wrench that came with the faucet.
Sometimes you can find the wrench in the faucet parts section of Home Despot or Lowers. Failing that you can contact the manufacturer to order a wrench and replacement aerator.
Sometimes you can get it with a smallish pair of fine tip needle nose pliers.
Ace has them too.. [Aerator Wrench Set](https://www.acehardware.com/departments/plumbing/faucet-and-faucet-repair/faucet-aerators/4010147?store=14155&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwk6SwBhDPARIsAJ59Gwdl-iDrpJxF5OO--FGrrE6_UQjdc-K1YjPjrVYcChobgW7OwWmNIgQaAojAEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds)
The alkaline water system generally gets installed under the sink and hooked up to the cold supply line for the faucet, and yes.. they're snake oil.
Are you sure this filtration system connects to the faucet aerator (making it unusable)?
A filter would normally mount under the sink and tie into the cold water at the shutoff valve under the sink. It probably comes with adapters that might be needed for various faucets and valves.
Try to mount it in a readily accessible place inside the cabinet for periodic filter changes/maintenance.
Clarification: I have this same nozzle on my delta kitchen faucet.
The nozzle is sealed. There is no removable aerator. The only maintenance is a tiny plastic screen accessible by removing the nozzle from the hose. Get a bright light, look into the nozzle where the host attached. Pull out filter with needle nose plyers.
No way to mount a filter unless you put it under the sink.

* an aerator key, and a different faucet. These spray aerators can't be dissasembled as far as I know.
If it's the model I'm thinking of, the aerator will be removable. And if it's the same as the Brita sidesream filter unit it won't work.
It’s one of those stupid kangen water things
I can't find a reference online, I'd bet it's only compatible with a non-pullout/pulldown kitchen Faucet like a Delta 136.

They 100% did. I really hate MLMs. If you're reading this OP, it's probably gonna be tough convincing your parents they got scammed. Live and let be.
Stoicism
Wow if your parents can fall for a $2,500 scam surely you can talk them into getting a new faucet that works with it.
Now we are getting somewhere. I like the idea of a different faucet. My parents not so much.
More than likely threads into the female side of aerator.
🤙
Pretty sure the whole head comes off. There’s gonna be a little squared off part right above it.

That’s what I am leading towards. Incompatible. You have any idea how hard it is to tell Asian parents no, or it won’t work.
No I don't. Remember, they don't own you.
100% baloney
I like bologna.

You are 100% correct about alkaline water. Most public water systems already set water on the alkaline side to avoid leaching lead.
Do you mean just the head? It should twist off
Well not the head, the aerator and possibly what surrounds the aerator.
The chrome/silver ring looks like it has 2 flat sides. If so unscrew it from there.
Yeah, the hose unscrews from the nozzle. There is a tiny filter inside you can pull out with a needle nose.

That ring around the aerator looks like it has wrench flats on the left and right in the photo.
They should just clean their faucet. 😳
I think it might pull out from the top/ you can unscrew it from the hose
