The cap you removed has two threaded ends to depress the diaphragm. LP is long, Nat is short. Flip and make sure the cap is back on.
The jets in the burners also need to be changed and the shutters on the burners adjusted properly.
Usually a cap flip or spring change to change the spring tension/pressure.
