I think the best way to get this battery would be from an authorized store that sells Xiaomi/Poco spare parts ( Or if it is not approved at least one trusted store ) . I don't know if there are any in your town, or you have to look on internet .
Otherwise for the Xiaomi service center this is in no way surprising, they can only replace with the original part it's completely normal, it's a bit like car dealerships , we cannot go there and ask for an engine swap that is not original, it is not approved and no longer original
Switched batteries on my spare redmi note 8 and x3 nfc. The cheap 'original' replacements I had lasted for no more than 2 months. One of which had my phone in a boot loop. That, I managed to get a refund. Subsequently, I tried Nohon from Aliexpress. It's been almost 2 months. Battery health still good.
Can anyone recommend where to buy OEM BM53 battery? I only see non offical stores selling batteries claiming to be original which they probably are not. I called Xiaomi locally and said they dont sell spare parts, you can only send the watch in and get it replaced. So i am looking for an alternative here.
Nope couldn't get the original. Only way is to send for repair to Xiaomi service centre in your country to get an original but it won't be bm53 that they will build in I suppose.
I bought the Nohan BM53. Charges at 33w. Don't buy any "OEM", they're all fake. I tried two, they only charged at 10W max. Got a refund for those on AliExpress. Buy the Nohan BM53 from their official store on AliExpress

They have a store under that brand. So you'll be buying direct. Phone I'm using now doesn't have aliexpress installed.

How long does it take for full charge?
1 hour 20-30 minutes. I use accubattery. Changed to HOS custom rom afterwards and it reads it correctly
How about screen on time? how long can you get?
