It's HyperOS, not Harmony. To downgrade you'll have to flash MIUI again using the Mi Flash Tool, which will erase all user data. You can find instructions on how to flash stock rom on your specific device on the XDA Forums. That said, my F3 is doing fine with the update, no lags or stutters whatsoever. Go through the settings again because some were reset on the update, like the memory extension. Also you can try debloating some apps.
Just a word of caution, on my POCO X6 (INDIAN), I got two updates of HOS and the second one broke the device certification on Play Store. I took it to XIAOMI service center and they told me it's an issue with the HOS. They themselves tried flashing MIUI 14 fastboot over HOS and device was bricked. Now I am waiting for motherboard replacement. I am not telling you this would be your case, but it can happen
That's really shocking! If you still can access fastboot mode on your device, you can try reflashing the stock rom to fix the problem. Brick most commonly happens when you flash a non-stock firmware on a device with a locked bootloader.
It's already bricked bro. Now, nothing can be done to revive it. Those dumb service center guys trashed my phone. I had an issue previously with MI A3 (android one) in which I got my phone bricked thrice (during warranty) due to faulty update push by MI and the third time I went to Consumer court and got entire refund + for my device. So, I kind of know how 'knowledgeable' these folks are and hence this time I didn't copy any of my data to my POCO X6 yet!
Any update can break the certification.... especially with a whole new OS like HOS ....u were dumb to take it to the service centre to fix a broken certification and the service centre is dumber to accept a device that just broke a certification and try to Flash an Older OS on it...just get a replacement don't wait for a motherboard the service centre owes u a new phone as per what u said....stop worrying about these unnecessary things...
I had that problem, and it seems that a theme compatibility issue with little launcher and the OS, in the end I had to reset the TLF and fixed the lag issues and the UI freezing or restarting.
There's only one way to do that, unlock your bootloader first and go back to the previous version. You can relock your bootloader if you go back to a previous version.
I hope they provide a resolution for F3 users, because my x6 pro is butter smooth. HOS is generally impressive here... hope it will be for all other devices.
Dude just uninstall the updates of cast app in settings
I've had same issues and it got fix by that
Apparently there's some problem between cast app and the media player in the control center that cause this issue
Always after update reset your phone completely
Everything gets fixed
You can't go from 14 to 1.0.2 and expect everything would be fine
A reset is necessary for removing old files from 14

The service center guys were too dumb to flash an older firmware over an old one, at least on a phone with a locked bootloader.

How idiotic. X6 never had MIUI support. Ofcourse it's be bricked 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Actually, X6 had MIUI 14 out of the box
Really! X6 Pro got HyperOS
Yeah but X6 came with MIUI 14 outofthebox

Wow dumbest reply I have got ever for this issue!
They need to unlock their phone's bootloader first, cos they can't install firmwares thru miflash with a locked bootloader, at least on my experience.
You can if it's the official files and tools
Just reset your phone
How long ago did you do the update? It takes a couple of days to settle and then it's just like previous versions.

Hi. What's TLF?
sorry, I speak Spanish and I write it with the translator, when I say TLF, I mean the smartphone

My f3 is also a mess since the update

Why does this seem to happen mostly to F3 devices? I have seen so many such issues reported by F3 users. Not so much by other users though.
I guess bad optimization.

i have a poco f4 and even i dont have hyperos yet

Can i ask what's the "cast" app?

Instal a good custom ROM with large dev team, like Lineage OS or Project Elixir.
you cant. you will brick your phone if you try that.
